Hoverboard Fail: Mike Tyson Takes a Hard Fall

Former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson took a hard fall while trying out his hoverboard on Christmas day.

Hoverboard are this season’s hottest Christmas gifts. There are numerous reports of increased emergency room visits for broken limbs caused by falling off the electronic skate boards.

The many reports of hoverboard injuries prompted California Gov. Jerry Brown to sign a new hoverboard law that goes into effect on Jan. 1.

The new law requires hoverboard riders to wear a helmet be over age 16. The law will also limit hoverboards to roads with speed limits that are 35 mph or less.

Christmas Day the kids in my neighborhood were up and down the middle of the street on these. We have sidewalks but no they didn’t want to be there.

The kids with scooters and skateboards were right behind them. Where were the parents? In the house of course but they would’ve been mad if somebody hit their kid in the street.

There was a time when skateboards were deemed dangerous. Sorry but the purchase of these boards is not a hood thing, and if I still lived in the hood and my kids were younger and wanted one for Christmas and I was able…they would get it. BTW, I have always paid my bills even when I lived in the hood.
