I don’t have a problem with what she said, however, stating her preference the way she did indirectly does insult the women who do choose to show skin. And such, she is doing the exact thing she is claiming the naysayers are doing to her. I don’t think it’s that serious for people to have replied though.

eh, she said her opinion. I personally could give an eff less about what some other broad is wearing and I really really do not care what men prefer to see in a woman. I dress for me – and sometimes that includes showing skin and other times I’m very modest pending my mood. I don’t understand why we have to be polarized all the time.

Some also consider dressing in goth and punk rock not classy, but those styles don’t require you being almost naked. You can be sexy with less clothing on too as well as classy. Attitude plays a big part as well imo. For instance, Christina Milian’s new video where she is with her ass tooted up in the air in lingerie looks slutty to me. But Diana Ross’s video where she’s also in a swimsuit or leotard dancing in Work That Body does not. Showing skin does not equally constitute to slutty. We are women and should be allowed to own our bodies and be comfortable in our skin and nudity doesn’t always equate to sex. It is about how you carry yourself.

Lingerie serves a different purpose than a swimsuit or leotard. One is for sxy time, the others are for athletic activity.

I agree with you. I will say that for me, there are certain styles that evoke the “slutty” trope versus the amount of skin shone. Like platform heels that are super big coupled with short bandage dresses/skirts and those dresses that are high cut in the legs and high cut in the chest as well. If you have small boobs and such it looks better but I’ve seen people who are falling out everywhere and it just looks bad.
