The University of Houston terminated its contract with a stadium security company after its employees assaulted fans who rushed out onto the field to celebrate the Houston Cougars' 24-13 victory over the Temple Owls in the AAC championship on Saturday.
Multiple videos taken by fans and sports outlets show the overzealous security guards punching and stomping fans as they rushed the field to celebrate with their team.
In one video, an overzealous security member 2-pieced a male fan who fell to the ground in a crumpled heap. The fan recovered quickly and continued his celebrations on the field.
After viewing the shocking videos, the university terminated its contract with CSC -- which bills itself as "the world's best" in stadium security.
