Remember when former First Lady Hillary Clinton commented on the high crime rate caused by inner city black youth. She referred to the black teens as “super predators”, saying “We have to bring them to heel.”

Speaking at Keene College in 1996, the first lady spoke about the roving bands of wildin’ teens: “They are often the kinds of kids that are called super predators; no conscience, no empathy. We can talk about why they ended up that way, but first we have to bring them to heel.”

A young Black Lives Matter activist reminded Mrs. Clinton of her quote during a fundraiser in Charleston, SC on Feb. 24.

So the feature I was referring to is where you can send someone (who has to also have the app) your ETA to a particular destination. My hubby does this when he leaves work so I can gauge how much cooking time I have before he gets home. It gives you an initial estimate of the time and when the person is about a mile away, it gives you another alert letting you know they are about to arrive. You can actually see the other person’s location on a map although I don’t really use that feature. It has proven really helpful coordinating picking up kids and meeting up. And their traffic alerts are SUPER accurate. If you do use it like that, let me know how you like it.

I am a firm believer that someone can bring something to your door all day long.. It won’t get in your home until you open the door and let it in.. When you don’t own boats or airplanes, you can’t get drugs en masse. Now, we see from documentaries like “Cocaine Cowboys” who was responsible for the influx of drugs in the 1980’s – Griselda Blanco, a Colombian, and the white pilots who flew the drugs into this country for distribution.

Fast forward – El Chapo is the 2016 male equivalent of Griselda Blanco, yet the majority of people in jail for drug related offenses and Black and non-violent, often users.

Reagan was the one who stopped funding Headstart programs and after school programs so children in inner cities no longer had places to go to engage in constructive activities and stay out of the streets. Big Brothers & Big Sisters used to be prominent 30 years ago. While I’m sure they still have mentorship programs, you don’t see their organization advertised as you once did.

Parents are having to pay $1,000+/mo. for daycare and after school care for their children, with the average American earning $40k, $43k/year. With the cost of rent and mortgages, the rising cost of food and utilities, and the taxation rates, the average American with one or 2 children is likely in a deficit every month, unless they live in a rural community on that salary.

Our Presidents have always demonized PoC, be it Black Americans, Gaddafi, the Ayatollah Khomeni, Bin Laden or Hussein – they are always crusading against a PoC, labeling them a “predator,” “demon” or “evil dictator.” They will never mention the good that any of the aforementioned did or do. They will also refuse to admit that the reason these people are and were considered “enemies” of the US is due to their refusal to bow down to the US government’s direction.

The beauty of the Internet is that it fosters easy access to information, as well as dialogue about historical accounts that may not be easy to research. For those of us who were alive and have memory to recall Gaddafi’s baby dying in the 80’s when the US military bombed his compound, we know that the US government is by no means innocent.

What does BLM actually do? All I saw in the video was a protester running with a sound bite. What happened to the days of wanting change and coming together with community leaders, local government, legislators and having open dialogue about the issues at hand? As of right now this BLM movement is just organized chaos. I checked out your NY Times link, and it is quite revealing, and very sad! It’s what so many have or are going through. Disney, ABC network and other corporations can do as they please. I’ve read some articles, but nothing as detailed and compelling! I knew it was going on, I’ve worked in data-com and data-marketing, tech support, knew a lot of IT people, the salaries and lives, the perks, I’m sure so many have been crushed! I used to regret I didn’t go into the field or take advantage of opportunities to do so, never imagined these jobs would be gone! Sadly, many highly educated and experienced people, young technology whizzes are out of work or gravely underemployed in this country! Thanks for the FYI!!! IN GOD WE TRUST!!!
