Romechia Simms

A Maryland mother who pushed her 2-year-old son on a swing for 2 days until he died is not "criminally responsible" for her son's death.

Romechia Simms, 25, was indicted for manslaughter and child abuse in the May 22nd death of her 3-year-old son Ji'Aire.

Ji'Aire died after Simms pushed him in a swing for over 43 hours. The boy died of dehydration and exposure to the cold night air on May 22, 2015.

On Monday, Simms signed a plea deal admitting that prosecutors had enough evidence to find her guilty of manslaughter. The plea deal means Simms will avoid a trial and she will not face jail time or time in a mental institution.

A court-appointed psychologist diagnosed Simms with schizophrenia, but said she was not dangerous.

Simms told investigators she heard voices telling her not to stop pushing Ji'Aire or "somebody will come."

She was hospitalized for 4 days after police found Ji'Aire dead on the swing set.

Simms' conditional 5-year release calls for her to continue taking her medications, and keep her appointment with her psychiatrist.

Got to be kidding me. Not even the NUT house?. Smh

  • 1/8

    She needs to be sterilized.

  • starbright9449

She should be kept in a mental institution. I mist say I find her light sentence surprising given her skin color.

  • 1/8

I worked in a mental institution for two years. The patients have sex with each other. She will get pregnant again and kill another child.

  • Ni Ni

Exactly. How she not dangerous? She killed her own son. She's not gon take that medicine and will end up doing something crazy again. I hope her tubes tied.

  • Fendi

If she did that, she isn't well. What an awful way for that gorgeous baby to leave this earth. You can just see how sweet he is by looking at him.

I pray she receives the proper assistance she deserves to manage her condition and hopefully come to terms with her actions.

  • It’s Taurus Season

She got off light, bc nobody wants to admit this could have been avoided. The courts denied that she was unfit just days before this happened. The father of the little boy, said she was crazy. Filed for full custody, and got denied. Deemed her of sound mind.

  • ?Sooo…Pretty?

Ok, Help me understand how this is possible. She stood there for 43hrs her damm self and pushed him on a swing until he died? She aint get tired, hungry, dehydrated? She didn't stop to rest, sleep or go to the bathroom? Huh?

  • Let Your Soul Glow

The daddy's plight was so sad. ? But they give out meds in jail so I still don't see why she isn't locked up.

  • That’s Interesting

Schizophrenic people can do stuff like that. That's why they wear coats in the summer. Their body can't always tell hot from cold. They can stand up and stay awake for days at a time. Her poor baby, well obviously that was another story.

When they get back on their meds, they don't remember what they did. It's a terrible disease. I feel for the baby, everybody involved, including her. I don't think she had malice in her heart when she did it, but I think she should be locked away in a mental facility for some time. Either way, she is going to suffer.

  • Saharabutnotdry

    I do agree .

  • nucynu25

That's really harsh but I agree , she shouldn't be allowed to harm another person . God only knows what she was thinking but this just shouldn't happen to another child .

  • THE OLDER SISTAH

From the Washington Post-“After the hearing, Covington, (the prosecutor,) told reporters that Simms’s relatives and officials could have done more to prevent Ji’Aire’s death. He blamed Vontasha Simms for not keeping better watch over her daughter.”
    **********************
The mental health system is a pathetic joke. The family is limited as to how much help they can get for an unwilling adult who is mentally ill. Pleas for assistance are often ignored until something like this happens. Those capable of detaining her probably told her family she would be okay...just make sure she takes her meds. It's not that easy.

  • Nancy Drew on my ibrowse today

Yes, that man made a real effort to be heard. (And, if he knew she was cray, then folks in her family knew it too. Had she been my sister, my mama woulda beeeeen took that baby - and if my sis felt some kind of way, my daddy would have told her 'brang yo azz!') :kona:

  • Dallas Kennedy

Politics... She black..the baby black. Most people in our community will overlook her mental illness and tear her down not focusing on the problem at hand..lol you want justice pray to a higher power...Ultimately the goal is to dehumanize those with mental disablities..you see picture of black woman who killed her child not in jail...that notion insights anger n rage but her disability is tragic all in itself..
She's not dangerous in fact she had an episode of immobility and if people were educated on mental disabilities someone would've noticed she been in the same spot for nearly two days....as a community we have to do better look at the bigger pic..lls same justice system that put her on the street lacks funding for mental treatment..... They have waged war on blacks wake up.. Prayers for her and her family. But u mfs in your right mind talkin shit about someone in their wrong mind need more prayers than her... U actually know better

This isn't her community's fault or a blk thING . He own baby daddy told the courts she was crazy this a failed system when it comes to mental illness . Honestly , I thought bc she was blk she would get jail time . I also didn't see any post speaking abt her negatively . It's just a sad situation .

  • Mel

I guess your blind the comment directly beneath this one is negative in fact they say she should get her tubes burnt and sealed. You think that's positive then you pose more of a threat then her. It is a problem in our community not hers. I specified if black people had a greater awareness of mental disabilities and what they look like we can do more to help. He told the courts she was crazy but never offered her help prior to. We as black people are aware the justice system is not designed for our advantage so yes it is our fault when we let our people slip through the cracks. Be proactive not reactive and things like this won't happen.

"Now that this tragedy has happened, Romechia should not be the one to pay for it,” Simms, 47, said. “Life is never going to be normal again without Ji’Aire. She can only try to pick up the pieces and continue on with her counseling, maybe for the rest of her life.” Vontasha Simms says since her daughter’s release, Romechia has been reading, singing gospel songs and spending time with relatives. She said her daughter may go back to school or part-time work if her case ends without incarceration. It's good for the public to have the opportunity to see that even when someone goes through that type of tragedy — and she’s still suffering and going through counseling — that you are able to be productive,” the mother said.

She needs to be in a mental hospital for several years. She is not well. She owes the little boy this. She owes it to him to get better, and she won't on her own. This woman needs to be committed

  • Alicia.Ashe

Her mother seems to be in denial.

  • ?Sooo…Pretty?

I'm sorry can't think crazy or understand it. LOL!

  • 1/8

Symptoms of schizophrenia generally start between 16 and 30 years old. Romechia Simms was 25 when the incident occurred and she gave birth to her son when she was 22. I have a feeling Simms was desperately Ill when she got knocked up, which means the baby's father is just as responsible for the child's death as Simms is.

  • nucynu25

Yess , tubes should be sealed or burned she killed an innocent child . Do you want to take the chance of her getting better maybe she does , maybe she doesn't . I just wouldn't gambles a child's life on it . Her bd told the courts she was crazy Yess that may not hve been the only thing he couldve done but I doubt he's a dr , so it seems as if he did the best he could . We hve to stop blaming everything on us , this id the systems fault and Yess it is a system that doesn't gaf about us , but that does not mean the blame shifts from them to us . That's apart of our problem we get angrier at our selves quicker than we get mad at the ststem.

She was filming Hollywood Divas at a bowling alley and a light fixture fell, hitting her in the head. She said she didn't sustain any cuts or bruises, but that impact could cause a brain injury.

She filed a Work Comp claim, but anyone who has ever dealt with WC claims in CA knows they (the insured's carrier) have 90-days to respond. She needs immediate attention.

You can feel "fine" and have sustained a concussion or worse.

Praying that she is okay. Injuries of any kind aren't good. Hope she seeks medical and legal help.

  • TheRealLee

I don't think any state institution is collecting statistics. These people are neither hospitalized nor receiving therapy and medication. These people are killing robbing, raping. No one wants to institutionalize them because mental illness is stigmatized. Don't call anyone crazy, it's not PC you know. We will hear more and more cases like this.

  • Fendi

Your second paragraph >>>>>. Thank you for dropping gems on the Roses. I get muhfxckin' tide and, despite my lengthy posts, don't always feel like telling it all.

She better skate on over to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center's ER and get that neurological work up.

  • Let Your Soul Glow

Ah, okay. Yep, head injuries are not to be played with. Natasha Richardson thought she was fine and she was dead a couple of days later.

  • TheRealLee

But the problem with her would have had to be identified with the appropriate intervention. People around her probably attributed her behavior to just 'being off' and she was not getting the medical care. Unfortunately intervention happens after the aftermath. Look at that kid in Sandy Hooks. Mental illness is a stigma and nobody wants to force those afflicted into institutions or to take their meds.

  • AnonymousRose

So the food they eat stress they have imbalanced the mind where it becomes polluted, the only winner in mental cases is the powers that be, they made money off his death, they making money off her mucus filled brain. The losers are the mom and her son

    They will tell you
From cradle to grave... They stamp you when you arrive, and stamp you when u leave....they inject poison into your bodies, they. Take your blood, and use it against you, ... We need help, but I know its not coming, just wishful thinking....

Another child gone. On mental illness...ughhh

  • AnonymousRose

That's why she mentally fcked now some medication or mixture of some chyt fcked her brain up..., we need a intervention NOW, we need help.

    Wow! RIP sweet baby.

Has anyone ever seen what a schizophrenic person sees or hears. I had to do research during undergrad. Scary! Google it.

  • 1/8

Actually, they were VERY sneaky and quite clever. Although the male and female quarters were in separate areas, all patients shared the same tv lounge and dining room. With one nurse on guard, it's was easy for the patients to hook up.

One day, a male patient was raped in the bathroom by a group of "mentally ill" gangbangers.

  • 1/8

The problem is especially bad in the black community. During the two years I spent working in a mental health facility, there was a vast difference between the amount of family support our black patients received versus our white patients.

  • Fendi

I love this. People love to dismiss the importance of a father in his child's life. So many mothers are overwhelmed by having to carry such a heavy load. Some are hurt because their relationship with their child's father dissolved and they want so desperately to have a man in their lives. It's so much more to it than that.

The parents have to get along. There needs to be proper communication and mutual respect. Hell, there should be love between the two, even if their relationship dissolved. They may not be "in love," but care what happens to your former S/O. Wish them well, and mean it.

If folks could do the aforementioned and get on one accord as to how they want to raise their child, they should be able to successfully co-parent. But sadly, that still isn't enough for some people.

My heart breaks for the father. This is not a loss that he will likely recover from. Fathers are NECESSARY.

And women are shamed into thinking that when they can't be "superwoman"/"super mom," they failed. Hardly. It only means they're HUMAN and not only NEED, but DESERVE help.

Thank you for this. I'm literally fighting back tears. It is spiritually taxing to see so many women who need support and encouragement and don't damn receive it until it's too late.

A woman in So Cal recently gave birth to a baby in a Subway restroom. She left the baby in the toilet and she took off. She is homeless and in her 30's. The baby was in critical condition last I heard, but expected to survive. She has been demonized and people don't even know much more than her name and the fact that she is homeless.

I wish some folks would extend the compassion to other humans that they extend to animals.

  • TheRealLee

Mental health issues are mostly chronic or lifetime situations and costly. So yes, they don't get covered.

You missed my point. I said 'mental health issues are mostly chronic' and that is a fact. Other chronic illnesses from A to Z (that are Not psychiatric disorders) do get covered, even cancers, or kidneys or heart, or whatever organ you want to name. There are mental health conditions such as depression, social anxiety disorder, and others which are chronic and do get covered.

  • Jusstlookn

It's hard to say either way. Children are left in the arms of people that are mentally unstable everyday. Most families fear, if the child is taken from the crazy parent it will do more harm to both mom and child. My title is not Dr. but I think it's insane to leave child with unstable person.

  • http://sandrarose.com SandraRose

Help her how? The family says she was diagnosed with mental problems. She was probably on medicine and she was not compliant. Schizophrenics don't trust doctors or medicine. This woman belongs in a mental institution.

  • Saharabutnotdry

So that she can't push another swing no mo..

  • http://sandrarose.com SandraRose

In my experience with schizophrenics they are the most unstable. They always stop taking their medicine and that's where problems begin.

  • It’s Taurus Season

I don't know help her how. I'm not on that line of thinking. My thought on that is his son was his responsibility. Not her. I was asking for the folks who said that AND she needed to be sterlized. If she is, should he be too. Devils advocate. That's all.

  • http://Copblock.org aDingoDrankMyBabies

And where does the man who pro creates with this woman belong? No shade, I hear ya, and in a rare occurrence, agree with flubb? Where is the males role in these cases? Other than being free to sow his seed as God intended? What does the bible say about nurturing said seed once it blooms?

  • Auditor

Ok then...what you just said made no sense. Why isn't mental health covered like diabetes? I used to review health plans from different companies all over the country and no many health plans did not cover mental health at all. It is mandatory NOW due to ACA but most of the coverage is still limited unlike coverage for other major issues.

  • http://sandrarose.com SandraRose

It has been discussed at length that the father tried to get custody of his son. Unfortunately, the courts are biased towards mothers, especially when black fathers are involved.

Oh ok. I didn't know it was discussed at lengths. Lose the tude dude?? ok well. If he tried, I guess...I personally wouldn't procreate with a mentally ill woman, but, I guess...Maybe that's why she's not getting any time, because it was the court system that failed this baby?

  • TheRealLee

I know folks shouldn't be offended when things are stated about their people that don't apply to them. But when what's stated is ALWAYS negative, it begins to take a toll.

I hope you can find it in your heart to be more complimentary to men and women of color who are fighting for justice and equality for PoC in this country. I've been living a long time. I lived through the 50s, 60s, 70s up till now and I don't ever ever ever remember black mothers killing their children the way women are now. Fact is, black women didn't kill their children. There was another relative who stepped in and took the child if there was negligence.
These young girls need to be tested before they leave the hospital with their children to see if they are fit for parenting. Some kind of litmus or psych test. I just don't think these young women are prepared to have and raise children, and many of them leave the hospital mad at the boyfriend because he doesn't support them.

  • Li

The ruling makes sense to me. She was schizoid paranoid. But my question is -- when did she become that way? Before the baby was born or after? If it was before, then she shouldn't have given birth.

  • Li

And get her tubes tied. There was a time when judges could order a woman to get her tubes tied, but they took that away too.

  • Li

Oh -- that puts another light on it.

  • Li

The father should have been granted partial or full custody. What was his story?

  • Li

I wonder about the father's background that the courts wouldn't give him partial custody.

  • Li

Sandra, Rev. Corey Brooks just made a similar comment on Steve Harvey. But you know we "liberal" black people (and America). We want our boys to stay with the mother. I'm with you. Boys need fathers. If the mom and dad aren't together the father should have custody part of the time.

  • southern

I agree with this. I think it's the food we're eating. These young girls are having these babies to hold on to these boys or men and it's not working out. You always had someone older to step in but now EVERYBODY going out and no one gives a damn about the poor baby. It's sad as hell all the way round

  • Li

There's def a rise in mental illness in black people. I've never seen anything like this. It used to be a lot of alcoholism that was tearing families apart. Now everytime you read about a crime black people commit, the word "mental illness" is attached.

  • Li

    And nobody saw it?

  • Li

    He should sue.

  • Auditor

Nope it's the crack baby generation having babies...and then dumb enough to voluntarily be a single parent and raise a child alone.

  • Auditor

I used to work in a VA hospital too...stories for days and I lasted 3 months! My friend works in a hospital in ATL and tells me about all the youngins that come in there mental due to hitting heavy drugs.

  • free

so true. babies are paying the price with their lives and years of physical, mental, and sexual abuse. i think in this case, the father was trying to get him but it was tied up in court.

  • Just Keya

Good Morning. Up top is very unfortunate. However, IMO, when you see your family member who has a mental problem, please do what you can to get them some help. And NO they can NOT raise a baby alone if they don't have the proper help. This is a real shame. And her momma talking about it's not her fault. Then who's fault is it? Maybe it's yours miss. Because you KNEW she heard voices and all of that and still allowed her to be alone with this kid. Maybe they should lock you up then. Tuh. God Bless this little boy.

  • Auditor

I'll also agree that if you don't eat healthy enough something will go wrong with you...but THIS I don't know. Plenty of folks eat mcds on the daily with nan fruit or vegetable in sight and are just fine. Might be obese...but they're not mental lol.

  • Auditor

I don't know what you can do for a grown person. I remember reading a story about a child they were trying to get institutionalized before he hurt someone and the courts said he was alright. As long as the mental person is not hurting themself or anyone else they can walk the streets. You know the system only acts AFTER the fact and never before.

  • free

he still dead. i wonder if he was saying he was cold or hungry or didn't feel well? if he started crying or tried to get out of the swing? 2 year olds don't stay still for long. it had to take a long time; she didn't just stab him or shoot him. she let him freeze to death.

  • Auditor

Yea they were misusing it on certain groups of people...

  • EScrazy

This is sad. But this country doesn't care about the mentally unstable at all. They just shove meds down your mouth n in your veins if you "act out". The funding for mental healthcare is a joke they're closing so many facilities leaving these folks helpless and homeless

  • Yoni

These new age drugs are what's fuggin the young generation clean up! Pills and cough syrup and all these different names for weed aka reefer (the real LOUD) back in the day. I wouldn't dare touch all this rainbow bright/gas/loud shit that's going around today. Folks done let the government "legalize" marijuana. Now watch how this "natural" herb starts killing folks. Remember tobacco use to be just a natural leaf. Now it's deadly, because the government made it "legal".

  • <—Doesn'tTalkToStrangers

    :woohoo:

  • Just Keya

Right, I agree with that, but if this girl's momma knew she had a problem and was acting strange and all of that, why not do all you can and make sure she is not alone with the kid? Hearing voices is a very bad sign.

  • HelloToni

Re: The light sentence, courts may have taken into consideration no prior history of abuse or neglect.

  • Just Keya

The father was in court to get custody because of the mothers mental health and behavior issues. Something was going on before this. The signs were there.

  • Blaque Mahogany

I just read that Jussie "The Billie Goat" Smollett is going to do a tribute to Ray Charles...why?! Why?!

  • 1/8

Yes, he's dead, but murder implies she intentionally killed her son.

Based on this article, she kept pushing her son on the swing, because the voices inside her head said that if she stopped, something bad would happen. Tragically, she killed her son in an effort to protect him.

  • Just Keya

I'm a tad bit confused as why Jamie Foxx won't be doing a song. I was a little disappointed to see that.

  • Just Keya

Once again, I missed LAHH...ok let me be honest, I just did not feel like turning it on. Can one of yall just tell me what happened with Peter and the gang, and Pap and his bride? That's all I care about. Thanks.

  • Just Keya

Oh and any of yall watch Teen Mom OG? What happened with Farrah? They finally fire her?

  • harley_quinn2.0

    For what award show?

  • Blaque Mahogany

I don't know. I had temporary deafness after I heard his name.

  • Blaque Mahogany

Good point... I didn't even think about that. Very good point.

  • Ridingfinest

What the heck is wrong with our judicial system, you have enough to convict her but she signs a plea deal with no jail time or mental health institutionalization you got to be kidding. So guess she could have more kids and kill them as well???

  • harley_quinn2.0

See the problem is they never want to go with the person whose going to do a great job. They like to go with the person whose "popular". Honestly he should've politely declined because he ain't got it in him to perform anything by Ray Charles.

  • iWasteTime

    Good Morning Roses.
I read the above post and did a little googling.
In order for her to get no jail or mental health time, someone had to drop the ball on her BEFORE we got to the park and the swing. I think this plea deal was done so that whatever happened before the swing won't be exposed.

  • It’s Taurus Season

Since she get brung into everything...Beyonce got to go to White House to sing an Etta James song. WHY Jamie can't go to sing a Ray Charles song? I mean, He won an Oscar for playing him?

    Petty.

  • Miss

    Agreed

  • Miss

    I Totally Agree with you.

  • Let Your Soul Glow

I definitely agree! This sounds like a fail in a lot of areas. Sadly, this baby suffered the consequences.

  • MotherOfDragons, GetOffMyENuts

Exactly. This probably to cover the ass of whoever dropped the ball in the previous case the father of the boy brought against her. To find her guilty now puts whoever made the decision that she was fine a week or so previous in to question.

  • It’s Taurus Season

Yep. Said that last night. They would essentially be admitting wrong doing happened.

  • MotherOfDragons, GetOffMyENuts

Congratulations ???. Don't name her Journee or Jussie!

  • Renee26

Mental illness is real...she is going to have to live the rest of her life being punished by outsiders who judge her for her actions while she was sick and she will have internal guilt as well....justice served. There was no criminal intent, just a sad situation.

  • It’s Taurus Season

We sending the dad new baby a blog baby gift or no? Folks were blaming him for not doing more last night. His registry information public.

    Ok.

    Petty.

  • Readytochokemothernatureonout

Which is why I said bless them both...

  • Renee26

Forced sterilization on the mentally ill is wrong

  • Readytochokemothernatureonout

She threatened to quit I hope her arse did.

  • MotherOfDragons, GetOffMyENuts

There's not much you can do. My family went through it for years with my aunt and now with her daughter. They make it nearly impossible to force a person to get help unless they commit a crime. Then they'd get meds in jail but that's about it.

  • Blaque Mahogany

I'm confused by the write up. It says she wasn't found criminally responsible, but then it said she took a plea deal. I'm assuming it was an Alford plea, which is still a guilty verdict. Sooooo

  • free

oh lawd! i guess that's her story and she sticking to it. she needs a d*mn EXORCIST.

  • Renee26

A law to force fathers to stick around and take care of their responsibility...hmmm interesting

  • Blaque Mahogany

Yeah, which is why I thought it would be a BET production, but it's the White House. Just googled it.

  • It’s Taurus Season

Also, the girl had jumped on her mom prior. Pulled out some of her mom locs. Got arrested I think. Sandra I guess you can only write but so much. It was a lot untold, but I recall this case when it happened

  • Let Your Soul Glow

I read that mess her mama was talking about her singing gospel songs and taking her meds and knew that was a bunch of crap. I believe she probably jumped on the child's father before too. And if her mama thinks she's not going to attack her or the brother again, she's delusional.

  • Futuredocdonte

Bruh - let me make sure I understand

Bish pushed her son in the swing until he died of hypothermia ?

  • YOUR man chose BSweet #ohwell

Sandra, can we get out of this morbid post? I'm already having a bad day at work and this shyt is even more depressing.

  • It’s Taurus Season

    And dehydration. 44 hours yo.

  • harley_quinn2.0

    I blame Obama LOL

  • Let Your Soul Glow

Ditto! But hope your day gets better!

  • It’s Taurus Season

  • Let Your Soul Glow

Can we get a post on Sage the Gemini now saying his relationship with Jordin was a PR stunt gone wrong? He said, "Everything was f*ckin' horrible. That sh*t was dumb. She got on my nerves, I wanted to stab her." But dude was on IG last week all in his feelings. Ole sensitive azz!

  • Blaque Mahogany

Smdh. Generation of the mitches. Where did he say this? I miss all of the real men...

  • http://batman-news.com Roderick2011

She needs to be sterilized first.

  • It’s Taurus Season

He a damn Gemini! Duh @Soul. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde!

  • http://batman-news.com Roderick2011

    No it's not.
So you want to give her another chance to kill another kid?

This woman is not right in the head and isn't responsible for herself so someone has to step in and make sure she doesn't repeat this incident.

  • It’s Taurus Season

MTO. The ex put him on blast.

    Recorded him.

  • Let Your Soul Glow

I was looking at IG online and it was in my feed. Dude said it in a convo with his ex-fiancee, the chick before Jordin. He could have just been feeding her that bs to get in her panties now that Jordin chunked the deuce.

  • Futuredocdonte

I didn't hear anything about this and I'm in Baltimore Monday - Thursday ?

  • http://batman-news.com Roderick2011

You are going to burn on the extra crispy side of hell for that one.

  • http://batman-news.com Roderick2011

    So you prefer the alternative?

  • Let Your Soul Glow

For real!!!!! Freaking split personality! I love you, no I hate you, I want you, no I don't. Ugh!

  • It’s Taurus Season

And the ex been locked up on drug charges and is named after a gatdamn chemical earth element

    Curium

  • Blaque Mahogany

I heard TI is supposed to be an artist/owner of TIDAL. Did we get a post on that?

  • Let Your Soul Glow

You know I was looking at her name like, whet??? And she's been in jail?? See I didn't get all that far into the story. Maybe he thought she'd be primed to get some dack since she's been on lockdown.

  • Yoni

New post - Yt lady black BOY babies....

  • It’s Taurus Season

Not yet. Just got announced last night tho. I was like go KANG of da Souf! He better do it?

Sandra. Getcho self in here. We want posts.

  • http://batman-news.com Roderick2011

SR: I've always said fathers should raise their sons after age 2. Women should not raise boys.

You would have to change black culture first where men are taught that raising children isn't woman's work, but a team effort.

Then you would have to change American culture where black men aren't marginalized-economically or socially.

    Good luck with that.

  • YOUR man chose BSweet #ohwell

lol. I've already started working but I'm tempted to tell them I'm sick and just take the day off.

  • YOUR man chose BSweet #ohwell

Thanks. I hope so. Folks might not want to fawk with me this morning.

  • It’s Taurus Season

He held her down while she was gone.

And how old is Curium? She got a pre teen daughter I saw.

And yes. Bish is abbreviated according to the periodic table of elements Cm.

Maybe her mama was a chemistry major?

  • Auditor

    Sigh...men...

  • http://sandrarose.com SandraRose

That's funny. When I was growing up, black men were marginalized-economically or socially, but there were still more black men as head of households in the '60s and '70s than there are now.

  • side_i

No one went to the playground for 2 days???

  • LibraGirlonly

This is sad. Fly with the angels little one.?????

  • Latisaj

In white societies she has did them a favor by killing another black male! Smh, this is very sad her crazy azz needs to be under the jail!

  • Dani B.

This pic tho^^^^ ...threw me off for a second with thepriginal post about the lil boy and the swing :-(

  • Let Your Soul Glow

  • Auditor

Prolly was cold out during the day

  • Desi

OMG! Look at that sweet face. He's with The Almighty now.

  • Jozie723

What a terrible death.....he was tortured by the person he loved most in this world... and he deserves justice.

  • T’acheItEzee15

I don't think the woman should just walk away scot free, she should at least be institutionalized.

  • Dani B.

no foul no harm ..luv ya! :-)

  • BLACK *I*C*E*

    Are you for real?
This story is coo coo for Coco Puffs.

  • HelloToni

Oooh....The poor father. Careful who you procreate with.

  • 1/8

You'd be amazed at the thought process of people with schizophrenia.

I met a woman who carried her "baby" in her purse. When I asked to see her child, she opened her handbag and proudly showed me a dead pigeon.

  • Fendi

That's a valid question/concern. Sadly, he will never be able to see his son again. He should consider filing a civil suit.

  • Renee26

Absolutely any alternative...it's inhumane to force someone to be sterilized....having a mental illness is not a choice. But what you do with your body should always be your choice.

  • Sincerity7

This is really sad on multiple levels.

  • Monday

I HATE that the law works this way...

You did the crime, you had Evidence, if I was the D. A I would reject the plea and go straight to court

It happens TOOOO OFTEN.. WHYYYYYY because she probably lives in a project or hood area.

They use them like rat lab: take some pills, go speak to someone and release her back with the rest of them..

    We'll hear from her again.

  • Zizzle

    WTF???

  • http://batman-news.com Roderick2011

Three strikes laws and the deindustrialization( loss of middle class income jobs) of inner cities that sent jobs overseas then the government created crack and dumped it into the inner city and that started the drug wars of the 80's and 90's and the Prison Industrial Complex.

  • beba micou

She needs to be in a facility. She will murder again

  • T3

They should have fallen off pushing that poor baby for 2 days. Crazy bish!!!!

  • Lorenzo Chaps

    LMAO

  • ?Patty Kakes?

Why nobody or the police checked to see what was going on,or no one called the police. That's sad what the world has come to. I know someone seen her in the park with that child.SMH god bless that poor child

  • SmithyPooh

Mental health is serious, however because it was a mental condition and not malice they aren't going to drag her. That's really sad tho that, that baby had to go thru that for days.

  • Banjo :o)

wow. she should at least be put in a mental institution for a year to make sure she is taking her meds and being watched after this psychotic break. obviously she is capable of bad things smh sigh this is so sad

  • Banjo :o)

This comment is so savage LOL

  • CosmoBeauty

When the legal system miserably fails!????

  • Black-eyed She

5 minutes on a swing is pushing it, I can't imagine 43 hours. Prayers up.

  • Cyesha

I work with psych patients and I don't believe anyone labeled with certain psychiatric issues before having kids should be able to have them and people who develop certain psych issues during or sometimes after having kids should not be trusted. Most psychiatric diagnose have unpredictable traits. Psych patients are most of the time well protected and have their own book of rights.
