Trump Cancels Rally in Chicago as Thousands Protest

Earlier today, singer Chris Brown urged protestors to travel to protest Donald Trump’s rallies in large groups.

Over 1,000 protestors answered the call in Chicago tonight, where Trump was expected to hold court at the UIC Pavilion.

Trump canceled his rally tonight at the UIC Pavilion as incidents of violence erupted inside the UIC Pavilion.

Trump’s supporters took to social media to accuse the anti-Trump side of intentionally instigating violence at Trump rallies.

Brown, 26, vented his anger on social media after viewing video of a Trump supporter punching a black protestor at a Trump rally in North Carolina.

“Man, this s–t is getting crazy. Black people getting assaulted at f–king rallies where you’re supposed to talk at,” Brown said in an Instagram video.

The father-of-one urged protestors to “go together” to Trump rallies to show Trump’s supporters there is strength in numbers.

10,000 Trump supporters were expected to fill the UIC Pavilion on Friday. But just as many protestors were gathering outside across the street.

Police barricaded the streets outside the Pavilion and anyone wearing anti-Trump t-shirts (read: Black Lives Matter gear) are not allowed inside the Pavilion. But many anti-Trump protestors got inside.

Trump’s handlers announced the event was canceled just a few moments ago.

Trump has been criticized for urging his supporters to attack protestors. Trump reportedly promised to pay the legal bills of supporters who bodily removed protestors.

Update: Chris Brown advocates no violence at Trump rallies. “I’m glad to see us as a people starting to use our voice more,” he said in a video posted on his Instagram page tonight.

“All I can say is just no violence, man. No violence.”

The one great thing Obama did not do was mentor and groom a younger white male version of himself to continue his legacy (white male version strategically would have insured winning in racist post-Obama climate). Hilary Clinton is not the legacy clone needed.

Because Trump is disconnected with humanity, the basic and essential needs of the poor, working class, and middle class will be under siege.

Ironically, poor racist whites will vote him in and they will suffer a poverty they’ve never imagined because of it. Trump is not their friend. This country is 50 years removed from the civil rights movement. To put in to perspective, the 70 year old man who punched the protester on Thursday, has now participated in this twice in his life time, once at 20 years old and again at 70. I’ll bet my last dollar he was doing a lot more then punching 50 years ago.

In my opinion it’s all about our own personal self esteem We have been told that we are loud, angry, animals, savages etc. for a long time. Not because it is true, but because it is a means to hold us down. Instead of concentrating on what others think of us we need to worry about what we think of ourselves and accept the fact that not every one is going to accept us. You are very well spoken I must say. A lot of African Americans don’t know how to establish CHANGE. We constantly make white owned businesses thrive instead of our own. However, when we own a business, we don’t want to put any money into it…and the way we treat and service one another is absurd. Blacks don’t understand that they are the biggest spenders. If we kept money within our own community, white America would surely feel it…and I am more than positive that things WOULD change. A lot of African Americans don’t even know that there was a black economy in Oklahoma. That is an important part of history that they don’t teach in these school systems. Back then it took the $1.00 almost a year, to leave the black community. Now days…it takes less than a second. We are focused on ALL THE WRONG THINGS (cars, clothes, social media, bashing one another, jewelry, Facebook, instagram, Empire, black athletes as baby daddies, etc.) as a black culture. Instead of rising up together, we demolish one another and tear each other down. UNITY IS POWER….something we as a culture seem to not understand. At some point, we cant keep blaming others for what is happening in these communities. We have to blame ourselves.
