Good news. Empire‘s music director Timbaland is off the show. Apparently the show’s producers aren’t too happy with the music selection on the musical soap opera.
FOX Network is struggling to solve the problem of the show’s declining ratings.

Rhymeswithsnitch.com — According to reports Timbaland is being replaced next season by music producer Rodney Jerkins and singer/ songwriter Ester Dean.
Johntá Austin, Makeba Roddick and Jesse St. John will also be joining the team that includes returning songwriters Ne-Yo and J.R. Rotem.
