Gary Owen

Gary Owen backed up fellow comedian Katt Williams, whose tense interview on v-103’S Frank & Wanda show went viral last week.

Williams, 47, dissed comedic actress Tiffany Haddish, saying she read a script in the movie Girls Trip, but she has never proven herself as a comedienne.

Saturday Night Live star Leslie Jones called out Kevin Hart after he went on a verbal tirade against Williams last week. Hart accused Williams of not supporting female comedians.

“At least Katt put me on his tour. Kevin could have put me on a long time ago but he never respected me or my comedy, and trust I can call his card. He know I can,” Jones said.

Comedian Gary Owen co-signed Williams, saying Haddish is just not funny.

“She’s been doing comedy since she was 16. You can’t tell me your favorite Tiffany Haddish joke. Why? Because she ain’t done a tour yet. She ain’t done a special. She has not proven the ability to tell jokes back-to-back for an hour to nobody,” he said in a podcast.

Owen said Haddish stole the show in the movie Girls Trip, but he added she is not an established comedian.

Haddish ‘liked” Owens’ video when it showed up on her Twitter.com timeline.
