An effeminate man who accused NBA star Dwight Howard of threatening him is not transgender or cross-dresser. Masin Elije identified as a gay man in a post on Twitter.com.
On Saturday, Elije wrote a now-deleted post complaining that he was threatened by Howards's pastor after he claimed Howard was "a 6-11 bottom" -- a non-sports term that means a male who prefers to be a receiver.
Elije corrected Twitter users who referred to him as a transgender. "I'm a GAY MAN, with long hair," he wrote. He said "HE, HIM, HIS" are his preferred pronouns.
Elije claimed he met Howard at a taping of MTV's "Wild 'N Out" earlier this year. He said Howard DM'd him a week later.
"He was fine, 6'11, goofy, very charming, NO WIFE and NEVER been married so of course I was interested. I kept it real with him, and he kept it real with me about everything EXCEPT 1 THING….."
Elije posted several audio clips of a conversation between himself and a male whom he identified as Howard. In the audio clips, Elije accuses "Dwight" of attending transgender sex parties and having unprotected sex with men.
He said Howard's pastor called him and leveled threats at him after Elije refused to take "hush money".
"My relationship with Dwight pretty much was over in my eyes, especially after he threatened to ‘beat the sh*t out of me' of course I'm mouthy and threatened him back and said harsh things."
Elije claimed he called the police to report the threats from Howard's camp.
"So at this point, I am afraid for my life, I'm panicking, I'm having anxiety attacks and for a whole week I was bullied by Dwight's team and Dwight Howard stood there and allowed his team to harass me, and I became a 'faggot in a wig' when Dwight is a 6'11 BOTTOM"
But Elije was busted as the same man who fabricated a similar story last year about rapper Playboi Carti. Twitter users say Elije created fake Instagram posts to incriminate the rapper as a gay male.
