Soulja Boy is back behind bars after a judge ruled he violated the terms of his probation and remanded him immediately into custody.
Soulja was arrested last month after an ex-girlfriend claimed he kidnapped her and held her captive at his home.
The violation was triggered after cops executed a search warrant at his home and turned up ammunition. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
The rapper, whose real name is DeAndre Cortez Way, strolled into a Los Angeles courtroom on Thursday for a probation hearing. The judge said Soulja failed to perform community service and he falsified evidence that he had completed the court-order community service.
Then the judge said police found ammunition during a search of his home. The ammunition violated Soulja’s probation stemming from a 2014 weapons case.
The “Crank That” rapper will be held without bond until a hearing on April 30, The Blast reports.
Fans holding tickets for Soulja’s concerts tonight, April 11, in Ohio and Saturday night in Tennessee can get refunds at the point of purchase.
Soulja, who previously bragged that he was offered $50 million for part of his video company, found a new stream of income selling 16 bars for $10,000. He also sells beats for $2,500 and brand new Instagram accounts complete with 50,000 followers for the bargain basement price of $1,000, according to XXL.
