Domestic violence against men is on the rise, according to a National Family Violence Survey. But women's groups dispute the study's findings. They say the data is flawed because some of the "women" in the study were not born biological females.

They point to recent cases where journalists overuse the term "woman" to describe male-bodied individuals who have not transitioned.

The November 24 headline at the New York Post read, "Florida woman charged in machete attack wanted to be with man's wife."

The November 27 headline at NBC2.com read: "Woman stabs Venice man with a machete in attempt to steal his wife."

The Sarasota Herald-Tribune's headline read, "Machete-wielding Maine woman charged with attempted murder in Sarasota County."

According to The Herald:

"A Sheriff's Office arrest report states that a couple were in bed when someone broke into their home and began hitting them with an object. The husband identified his attacker as Robert Gibson, who he told police transitioned from male to female and identifies as Alana."

How many more Alanas are included in the statistics of women killing men at historically unprecedented rates?

Whoopi Goldberg hasn't had eyebrows in decades. No one paid attention because Whoopi's missing eyebrows weren't a big priority.

But the internet just noticed, and they're demanding to know why Whoopi's lack of eyebrows managed to escape their scrutiny until now.

Thethings.com wrote a post titled "Here's Why Whoopi Goldberg Doesn't Have Eyebrows."

Joseph Marzullo/WENN.com

No, Whoopi doesn't have a skin disorder and she didn't lose her lashes.

In a 2016 interview with VH1, Whoopi, 65, said she doesn't want hair on her face. So she shaves everything, including her wispy mustache and eyebrows. She even plucks her nose hairs.

It doesn't bother Whoopi that you didn't notice. That's the whole point of her shaving her eyebrows -- so you wouldn't notice.

By the way, eyebrows may seem pointless to people like Whoopi, but they're actually very beneficial to humans.

Derrick Salters/WENN.com

Eyebrows keep forehead perspiration and rain out of our eyes. They also keep debris such as dirt, dandruff and dust out of our eyes.

Eyebrows also help us communicate our feelings to others. Furrowed eyebrows lets others know you're mad or upset about something. Raised eyebrows could mean you're curious or surprised. And one raised eyebrow means you're ready for a good time.

So don't discount the lowly eyebrow as insignificant. God put eyebrows on your face for a good reason.

A sexy model is helping women catch their cheating men on Instagram by using herself as bait.

Paige Woolen, 28, who has over 200,000 followers on her main Instagram account, uses a fake account, @dudesinthedm, to reel in cheating men.

Paige, who lives in California, slides into the direct messages of men to catch them cheating, according to the Toronto Sun.

Paige's strategy is fairly simple: she uses her God given beauty to charm men who are more than eager to cheat on their significant others.

"I had been noticing a lot of guys that DM me on my personal account had profile photos with their girlfriends. It got me wondering if their girlfriends know or care that they DM random girls with photos in their bikinis," she told UK's Star.

"I personally believe snitches get stitches but I felt like using the power of Instagram for good and helping out my female followers. I posted a story about DMing their boyfriends from my main account to see if they would cop to having a girlfriend or not."

In one example, Paige slid into a man's DM and hit him with: "Just thought you were so so cute. Was hoping to meet up if you’re single of course."

She said the man, who had photos of his girlfriend on his Instagram page, replied instantly.

"I'm single enough," he told her, "do you have Snapchat?"

When she said she was in L.A., the man responded, "You're in LA? I'm there all the time for work, we should go out."

Paige doesn't take compensation for her good deeds. She gets satisfaction in knowing she helped a woman catch her cheating man.

Chance the Rapper and his family have abandoned city life for safer suburban living, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Chance, 27, and his wife, Kirsten Corley Bennett, moved out of their condo and are renting a recently built, 5-bedroom mansion in north suburban Bannockburn.

The couple will keep their $3.7 million, 4,500 sq. ft., three-bedroom condo in the city's affluent Streeterville neighborhood on the Near North Side.

But they decided to raise their daughters Kensii, 5, and Marli, 1, in the country where they have 3.7 acres for the kids to run and play.

According to The Tribune, the 6,721 sq. ft. French Provincial-style mansion was built in 2014 and has 5-and-a-half bathrooms and four fireplaces.

The finished lower level boasts an exercise room, a wine cellar, a rec room, a game room and a four car garage.

Kirsten shared photos of her new rental home on her Instagram account.

Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan says the city will vaccinate 5,000 residents a day when Covid-19 mRNA vaccines become available in December.

Duggan said the process will be a huge undertaking, but he's confident they will vaccinate all residents. "To get the vaccinations out we're going to have to vaccinate 5,000 a day just in Detroit," Duggan said, according to the Detroit News.

"You think about the city of Detroit with 700,000 people. If you were able to vaccinate 5,000 a day, you're still talking three or four months," Duggan said.

He said large city structures such as the TCF Center and large parking structures will be used to do large-scale vaccinations during the winter months.

A new study shows two-thirds of all Detroit residents say they will not take the vaccine -- even if it’s free.

According to the study, nearly two-thirds of Detroiters say they are unlikely to get the coronavirus vaccine.

The numbers are higher among the Black and Hispanic communities, where nearly 80% say there is no chance they will take the vaccine.

Health experts who authored the study blame the hesitation on a longstanding mistrust of the U.S. government.

Future Hendrix gifted his new girlfriend with a pair of diamond earrings after his ex-girlfriend Lori Harvey was spotted in Atlanta with Michael B. Jordan.

Future, who has 4-5 children with as many women, is dating Dess Dior this month. The rapper, who goes through women like a box of Kleenex, took to his Instagram stories to show off the new gems he bought Dior.

But enough about them. What's the story with industry trampoline Lori and People's Sexiest Man Alive, Michael?

First of all, no one believes they are a genuine couple. Even if a sex tape leaked, no one would believe it.

Lori has a colorful dating history that includes more than one high-profile down low celebrity. And Michael's dating history is a mystery.

Which leads some to believe that Lori is getting paid to be Michael's high-dollar beard.

It isn't difficult to believe Lori is pretending to date men who want their bedroom secrets to remain just that - a secret. But is she hustling backwards?

Lori is still young (23), so she has another decade or so before her looks start to fade and she loses her value as professional beard to some of entertainment's elite down low males.

The federal government is so eager to get people to line up for its Covid-19 mRNA vaccinations that it is considering paying $1,500 per man, woman and child to get the vaccine.

The government is aware that Black people in particular are uneasy about taking vaccine shots.

So the feds are linking the vaccinations to $1,500 stimulus checks in hopes that people will stop resisting and get in line for the money.

While vaccine manufacturers claim their vaccines are highly efficacious, they acknowledge that most people are wary of an mRNA vaccine being developed in under a year. Most vaccines take 3-5 years to develop safely after undergoing rigorous clinical testing.

The FDA has never approved an mRNA vaccine for human use in history. That's another reason why Americans are shying away from taking the vaccine.

The federal government rarely pays Americans to take vaccinations.

"Trying to pay people to take the vaccine suggests there's something wrong with the vaccine," Arthur Caplan, a bioethics professor at the New York University Grossman School of Medicine, told Healthline. "It's not going to address their suspicions and doubts. It's going to inflame them."

Question: Will you take the vaccine for $1,500?

Mike Tyson, 54, and Roy Jones Jr., 51, fought to a draw on Sunday night, as the 2 heavyweight champs returned to the ring for a battle of old timers.

On the undercard, YouTube star-turned-boxer Jake Paul knocked out former NBA star Nate Robinson in the second round.

Paul, 23, had promised to knock out Robinson in the first round and he warned Robinson's kids not to watch the fight.

Robinson, 36, was fired up at the opening bell as he raced across the ring and stunned Paul with a right hook. But he quickly ran out of steam and the fight resembled more of a wrestling match at times.

Paul, who won his first fight in January, knocked Robinson down in the first round and again in the second.

Robinson beat the count, but Paul landed a brutal right hand in the second round that left Robinson sprawled on the canvas while medical staff worked on him before helping him out of the ring.

Robinson was making his debut as a boxer after a 10-year career in the NBA. Both men waged a war of words on Twitter to hype the fight.

Old skool rapper Snoop Dogg was a ringside announcer while actor Mario Lopez was the master of ceremonies for the undercard fights.
