R&B Singer August Alsina passed out and fell into the crowd of stunned women during a performance at Irving Plaza in NYC Monday night. Video taken by a concertgoer shows Alsina’s legs going limp as he fell into the crowd. Word from Alsina’s camp is the lanky 22-year-old singer hadn’t eaten after smoking too much “Knockout” — a strong Grade A++ strain of medical marijuana.

Minnesota Vikings General Manager Rick Spielman held a press conference today to announce the team’s decision to reactivate child abuser Adrian Peterson. Spielman stressed that the team did not condone child abuse, and that Peterson — who was arrested Friday for child abuse — should be allowed due process under the law.
But he also said: “We feel strongly as an organization that this [was] disciplining a child.”

For the third straight year, Miss New York was crowned the winner of the Miss America Pageant. Kira Kazantsev, 23, walked away with the coveted title last night at Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall. Kazantsev, an aspiring lawyer, was born to Russian immigrants.
It is the 2nd straight year that a foreigner has been crowned Miss America. Last year’s winner, Nina Davuluri, was born to Hindu Telugu parents.
