Lizzo objects to being called “skinny” after she lost over 100 pounds on a strict diet and exercise regimen. The “Still Bad” singer doesn’t consider herself to be “skinny” after her dramatic weight loss.

“I got snatched here first,” said Lizzo, referring to her frame of mind during an appearance on The Breakfast Club on Monday. “I think I had to start with cleaning out my mind and my energy and clearing out all of the negativity around me. And I feel like I released so much I was holding on.”

Lizzo reminded fans that she lost weight by ridding herself of “toxicity” and with a rigid exercise regimen that includes pilates, strength training, yoga, hiking, pickleball, and more.

“The internet is like, ‘Oh Lizzo’s skinny now.’ I am well over 200 pounds, do you know what I’m saying? I’m 5-foot-9. I’m a plus-size. I got double digit pants on now… Put me next to any pop star now, I’m bigger than them.”

Lizzo still has another 70 pounds to lose before she hits her ideal weight goal without Ozempic or other weight-loss drug.

Lizzo, 37, didn’t realize how much weight she lost until she filmed her “Love in Real Life” music video.

“I was in shock,” she said. “It shocked me, because the way that I’m releasing weight has been a long slow process. People may not have seen me or been keeping up with me, but I’ve been posting about it, and I’m in a calorie deficit, so that’s the one that sneaks up on you. If you’re in a deficit for so long, you’re shedding like half a pound a week… You’ve crossed a threshold; your body has done a thing, so now it’s about controlling that.”
