Fans of rapper Gunna are shocked by a recent jailhouse photo that shows his dramatic weight loss.

According to reports, Gunna lost weight after suffering apparent drug withdrawals from a chronic addiction to lean and cocaine.

Gunna's locs hair extensions were cut off because extensions can be used as weapons or to commit suicide in jail.

The rapper (right) was arrested in May, along with pal Young Thug (left), on state RICO gang charges.

Gunna is also under investigation for at least two homicides, WSB-TV reports.

"He is a member of the Shady Park Crips out of South Fulton," prosecutors said in court Thursday, where he was denied bond a second time.

"He is under an investigation at this point in time by more than one law enforcement agency concerning at least two homicides committed by that gang during this time."

Fulton County Jail officials believe Gunna was supplied with codeine cough syrup, cocaine and weed by a contract nurse who was recently arrested after she fled the state.

Fulton County Jail

According to WSB-TV, 24-year-old TreQuera Lashell Ford was arrested in Mississippi last month and accused of smuggling cocaine and weed into the Fulton County Jail for the rapper.

Ford was extradited back to Atlanta where she faces charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, crossing guard lines with prohibited items, possession of cocaine, and other counts.

Officials said the drugs were intended for Gunna, real name Sergio Kitchens.

Ford caught the attention of a jail captain when she showed up to work smelling of marijuana aroma on May 14.

She told the captain she smoked marijuana in her car before coming to work. She then panicked and fled the jail, leaving behind a bag containing cocaine, marijuana, cigarettes and other contraband, according to WSB-TV.

Lori Harvey denies reports that her split from A-list actor Michael B. Jordan left her in a deep depression.

Rumor has it that Lori dropped 20 pounds and fell into a deep depression after Michael broke up with her.

Arturo Holmes/FilmMagic

"I'm in a really, really good space," she told E! News. She said she is looking forward to her hot girl summer as a single woman.

affinitypicture / BACKGRID

"Like, really happy, I'm excited for the summer. I feel like this is the first summer that we have kind of no real restrictions, like we're off lockdown. So I feel good!"

She says she's focusing on her skin care line SKN by LH and building her brand.

"Business is going good. I have some new fun projects that are coming soon that I've been working on, so I'm extremely excited to share that with everybody. Just excited to continue to grow, continue to evolve, continue to learn as I go."

Sources say Lori is taking a break from reading her DMs. She's tired of the constant stream of "pick me" messages from lonely men.

The daughter of Marjorie Harvey and stepdaughter of standup comedian Steve Harvey said her parents advised her "To not get caught up in the comment section" on social media. Lori says she repeats her mantra to her younger self: "Remember you're the prize, always."

Experts recommend exercising 20-30 minutes a day to increase muscle strength and improve the cardiovascular system.

But what about people in their 80s and 90s who have never exercised a day in their lives?

The Daily Stardust / BACKGRID

So how do we separate the truth from myths about exercising? When is exercise too much or too little? Is there a benefit to exercising every day like socialite Lori Harvey above?

Fitness experts say there are a lot of myths about exercising, and doctors tend to take a one-size-fits all approach to exercising.

The following are common myths and misinformation about exercising.

1. Do you have to work up a sweat for exercise to count?

No, not necessarily. The main purpose of sweat is to cool your body down when the sweat evaporates off your skin. Always drink water like Miley Cyrus (above). Some people don't sweat during cardio exercise. If you're moving your body, you're exercising whether you sweat or not.

2. Does lifting weights make women bulk up?

No. Women don't have as much testosterone as men, like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson here. Women can lift weights equal to men, but we don't bulk up unless we take testosterone supplements or steroids. The exception is some women who genetically have more testosterone in their system than normal women.

3. Will abdominal crunches make you lose belly fat?

No. Crunches will strengthen your belly muscles, but they are hidden under a layer of belly fat, like Rebel Wilson above. Men have more testosterone which gives their muscles definition and they burn more fat, like Harry Jowsey below.

Jvshvisions / BACKGRID

4. Will you burn more fat if you exercise longer?

No. Vigorously exercising for more than an hour may cause physical exhaustion unless you are a physically fit athlete with a personal trainer, like Nicole Scherzinger above. High-intensity exercise for shorter periods of time is the best way to burn calories. If you plan high-intensity exercise you should first consult with your doctor to make sure your heart is healthy. Don't forget, your heart is a muscle that naturally weakens with age (over 50).

5. Is strength training the same as cardiovascular exercise?

No. Cardiovascular exercise gets your heart pumping which helps to strengthen your heart muscle. Cardiovascular (aerobic) exercise increases oxygen transportation which is good for your health. Strength training (anaerobic) focuses on adding bulk to specific muscle groups. Women can't add muscle bulk since we don't have enough testosterone. Strength training is not what the female body is designed for.

6. Is sex a good form of cardio exercise?

Yes. Sex is a form of cardio exercise. Sex works some muscle groups and increases oxygen transportation to muscles and the cardiovascular system. But, too much sex is not good for your heart, particularly if you're over 50. Experts suggest avoiding certain exercises if you are over 50. Always consult with your doctor if you plan a workout routine that consists of high-intensity exercise.

7. Is "no pain, no gain" true or false?

Getty Images

False. Pain is a sign that something is wrong inside your body. You should never push your body until you feel pain. If you feel pain, stop exercising! Pain is a sign that the skeletal muscle is injured. Pain is also a sign of rhabdomyolysis and compartment syndrome.

Friends say Lori is unrecognizable now since losing so much weight. Lori's dramatic wight loss was obvious when she stood next to a friend whose weight was proportionate to her height. That's Lori on the right.

Media Take Out spoke to a person close to Lori's camp who said Lori is taking the break up very hard. She's wasting away because she's not eating. She's gone from 135 pounds to just 95 pounds, which isn't healthy.

The friend, who claims that she's "worried" about Lori, explained, "Lori has been dieting like crazy, and working out too. She's dropping a lot of weight."

She added: "We're not used to see Lori look like that. And even at this weight she's still dieting and exercising like she still wants to lose more weight."

Mindy Kaling reveals she lost weight by eating less because "restrictive diets" don't work for her.

"The Office" star told Entertainment Weekly she achieved her 40-pound weight loss by continuing to "eat what I like to eat" - but eating "less of it."

"Honestly, I didn't really do anything differently," she said, while touting her new diet. "I eat what I like to eat. If I do any kind of restrictive diet, it never really works for me. I just eat less of it."

Mindy, 42, is pictured leaving the Center after attending a Lakers game in Los Angeles last week.

The mom of two had difficulty losing her baby weight after giving birth to daughter Katherine in December 2017. Mindy is also mom to son Spencer (born in 2020).

"After I had my daughter I had to shoot a movie like two months later, so I was very much like: 'Just give me grilled salmon and sautéed spinach. I'm going to eat that for three months,'" she said.

The Mindy Project star showed off her slender figure in photos on her Instagram page.

She joked that she would post more "thirst trap" photos for her adoring fans.

Singer Ciara shocked her fans by showing off her dramatic post-baby weight loss.

Cici posted a photo of her new bod on her Instagram page, saying she lost 39 pounds she gained during her last pregnancy.

Ciara ate a meager diet and used an app to help count her calories after she gave birth to son Win Wilson in July 2020.

However, Cici's fans say she may have overdone it because she is bone thin.

The "Level Up" singer partnered with officials at WW, formerly known as Weight Watchers, last September to help her drop the baby weight.

She updated her fans on her weight loss journey via Instagram on Tuesday June 15:

"Goodbye to those last 10lbs I've been working on these past 5 weeks, Hello to me-pre baby weight! I'm so proud of myself– down 39 pounds on my @ww journey! The @ww app really made the process easy and fun! Thank you to everyone for your support, we did it! If you believe in yourself and set goals, it's all possible! Go for it! Go get it!"

Although Ciara is back to her high school figure, she plans to keep using the WW program for the foreseeable future.

"I am so excited to continue the journey with WW, focusing on my overall wellness and maintaining this strong body that gave me three beautiful babies without having to restrict myself."

Baby Win is Ciara's second child with her husband, NFL quarterback Russell Wilson.

They also share daughter Sienna, four, and seven-year-old Future, who is Ciara's child with her ex-fiance, rapper Future Hendrix.

Lizzo denied posting "thirst traps" on Instagram for 'likes' and follows. "They're not thirst traps," she said when BACKGRID caught up with her.

The "Good As Hell" singer was insulted when the photog asked if anyone was sliding into her DMs (direct messages) on Instagram.

"My DMs are full," she insisted. "They're very occupied. But they're not thirst traps. I just look good!"

"If you see me in these streets... I'm just trying to stunt on these ho*s," she laughed.

Lizzo was spotted after dining at Crossroads Kitchen restaurant in Los Angeles, on Monday night.

She wore an oversized pink and white striped dress that accentuated her curves. And, yes, she looked good! She's definitely losing weight.

Keep doing what you're doing, Lizzo!

Lizzo responded to the public backlash after she shared her juice detox cleansing "diet" with her social media followers.

The 32-year-old pop star, who was slammed by fat feminists as "fatphobic", insists her detox cleansing diet isn't "for a dramatic weight loss".

Addressing her fans, Lizzo said:

"Your body is perfectly yours, even if it ain't perfect to anybody else. If you only knew the complexities your body possesses you would be so proud of it.

"I'm so proud of you. For making it this far in a society that gives us a head start into self-loathing, that hands us a dysmorphic mirror and leaves us desperate to catch up with who we think we should be."

In one Instagram post, she shared a photo of herself, nearly naked, standing on a balcony.

Lizzo, who was previously happy with her morbid obesity, said:

"I've spent so much time in this body and I am no different than you — still struggling to find balance, still trying to mend my relationship with food, my anxiety, my back fat. It gets easier. I've spent my hardest days trying to love me."

In another post, the "Truth Hurts" hitmaker wrote: "I detoxed my body and I'm still fat. I love my body and I'm still fat. I'm beautiful and I'm still fat. These things are not mutually exclusive."

Lizzo addressed the criticism over her detox diet:

"To the people who look to me, please do not starve yourselves. I did not starve myself. I fed myself greens and water and fruit and protein and sunlight. You don't have to do that to be beautiful or healthy. That was my way. You can do life your way. Remember, despite anything anyone says or does DO WHAT YOU WANT WITH YOUR BODY."

You can't please everyone. So-called "fat feminists" are furious with singer Lizzo after she embarked on her weight loss journey without seeking their permission.

Full-figured women who are happy in their bodies took to social media to rebuke the 32-year-old pop star after she confessed to hating her body and despising how she looked in a mirror.

In a TikTok video Lizzo said, "I came home, and I took my clothes off to take a shower, and I just started having all of these really negative thoughts about myself. Like, you know, 'What's wrong with me?'... 'Why am I so disgusting?' and hating my body."

Fat feminists on Twitter called Lizzo out and accused her of being "fatphobic."

One Twitter user wrote:

"The problem here now, is that fatphobics and horrible people will now use Lizzo's weight loss as a tool to further shame and abuse fat women who are happy in their bodies."

In a now-deleted tweet, user Leah wrote:

"my heart hurts with all my fat peers today. even though she won't say it and will probably try to excuse it, I'm sorry that @lizzo did that to us. we are worthy and what she posted was so f***ed. if you are triggered and upset by it I and right there with you."

Leah, who is Caucasian, apologized after Black Twitter descended on her timeline and attacked her -- as if morbid obesity is a Black thing.

One Black Twitter user wrote: "stay out of black folks business."

Another user wrote: "girl remove that blm photo from ur header and while ur at it stay [out] of blk folk business. foreva!!"

A third user tweeted:

"STAY OUT OF BLACK FOLKS BUSINESS IN GENERAL. Youre not an ally, youre a undercover enemy. Selfish, controlling, only care about BW when they're fat or fir your agenda I guess. Youre just like these Republican WM and its people just like you that gives libs a bad rep."

Leah responded to the criticism:

"The biggest thing is that I am genuinely sorry, and I had no idea just how much I was feeding into the racism of Black women being so highly scrutinized and held to such high standards. I should’ve, I can, and I will do better."
