Rapper Tip "T.I." Harris is disappointed that one of his sons has refused to appear on his Vh1 reality TV show The Family Hustle.

T.I. spoke with Big Bank and DJ Scream on their podcast show "Big Facts." T.I. explained that his son Domani Harris has chosen to take a different path to stardom and won't appear on The Family Hustle this season.

T.I., who shares Domani and six other children with his wife Tameka "Tiny" Harris, said Domani will not appear in the current season because he no longer wants to be associated with the show or with his dad.

T.I. said the 19-year-old left $85,000 on the table.

"That man gave up -- what was it for one season? I think it was $80,000 $85,000. They told him all you got to do is show up. Just for being in the background."

Even with production offering to limit his camera time, Domani declined to participate in the reality show.

The aspiring rapper recently released the song "The Truth." In addition to following in his father's footsteps, he also took up acting and appeared in "SpongeBob SquarePants: The Broadway Musical."

T.I. said his son wants to embark on his own career path without any ties to the scripted reality show or his famous father.

The "King of the South" could not hide his disappointment.

"He real adamant about making his own path, you know what I'm saying? You know he has a keen intent to separate his legacy from my legacy."

T.I., pictured center with sons Messiah Harris (left) and Domani, said he understood the teenager's decision, but he would never walk away from that much cash for basically doing nothing. He said his son is not a paper chaser like him.

"I wouldn't have given up any money. I wouldn't have let no money slide by, but I get it."

Question: Would you walk away from $85,000 to choose your own career path?

An Atlanta judge has ordered rapper T.I. to pay his baby mama $1,000 more per month than he had already been handing her. He also gets joint custody of his sons Messiah, 8, and Domani, 7.

Last week I received a letter from a woman who said she was Lashon Dixon's friend. She agreed that T.I. gave his sons everything, inlcuding four wheelers, toys and clothing. But she said T.I. kept everything at his mansion for the children's use when they came over.

She claimed Lashon didn't have the means to provide those same luxuries for the boys at her home.

The friend said it was unfair, but I chose not to publish the email because I feel that Lashon needs to get off her ass and get a job in addition to the monies she receives from T.I. every month so she can also provide those things to her children while they are at her home.

This ruling is a victory for all baby daddies everywhere -- regardless of their personal wealth -- who have to deal with trifling baby mamas.

From the Associated Press:

A judge on Tuesday ordered rapper T.I. to pay more child support to the mother of two of his children after she claimed he wasn't providing enough money.

Superior Court Judge Bensonetta Tipton Lane told the two-time Grammy winner, whose real name is Clifford Harris, to pay just over $3,000 a month to LaShon Dixon. He had been paying about $2,000 per month.

The judge also said the 27-year-old performer must continue to pay for the boys to attend private school, uninsured medical bills and expenses related to the children's extracurricular activities.

Tipton Lane also awarded the couple on Tuesday joint custody of the boys, ages 7 and 8. Dixon, 28, was granted primary physical custody. The children previously spent about 40 percent of their time with the rapper.

Dixon's attorney, Randy Kessler, said his client is still unsatisfied with the amount the judge ordered T.I. to pay but is happy to receive more child support.

"Every little bit helps," Kessler said. "She was just getting by with the children, while they lived a different life with their father. It can't be complete opposites on the other side." (Source)
