Is there trouble in paradise for Jeezy and his fiancée Jeannie Mai? Insiders whisper that Jeezy and Jeannie are stepping back from their wedding plans.

Jeannie underwent surgery on her throat a few weeks ago, and Jeezy wasn't exactly there holding her hand every step of the way due to his busy schedule - which included a Verzuz battle with rapper Gucci Mane.

MTO News spoke with one of Jeezy's pals, who said, "Jeezy wants to hold off on marriage. They're engaged, so there's no need to rush things."

He added, "Probably [they'll get married] in 2025 or something like that."

When Jeannie was asked about the upcoming nuptials a few months ago, she sounded less than enthusiastic.

Read between the lines:

"Honestly, right now that's not at the top of our lists," she says. "We're so happy we're able to celebrate an engagement right now. I feel like we got work to do, so when it comes to our individual work and our individual projects and the messaging we want to send to people -- even the way that we use our Instagram -- it's really important right now to spread an energy of positivity and uniting one another than it is to be planning a wedding.

Relationships that fly high and then burn up upon reentry to earth are typically referred to as Dopamine relationships. Read here for more info on that.

This is the phase of Jeezy and Jeannie's relationship when that instant attraction they once felt for each other has faded.

Now they must reexamine their relationship to determine if they are equally yoked and if they have anything in common.

Question: When do you think Jeannie and Jeezy will announced their split?

Michelle Obama insists her marriage to former President of the U.S. Barack Obama is not on the rocks, even though it is far from perfect.

The former First Lady, who will celebrate her 28th wedding anniversary with Barack next month, spoke candidly about the ups and downs of her marriage with guest Conan O'Brien on the latest installment of The Michelle Obama Podcast.

Michelle, who reportedly suffers from situational depression, seemed to confirm rumors that she and Barack are often at war with each other.

"There were times that I wanted to push Barack out of the window. And I say that because it's like, you've got to know the feelings will be intense. But that doesn't mean you quit," she says.

She also admitted that they sometimes live apart in the 5 mansions they own. "And these periods can last a long time. They can last years."

Michelle, pictured with Barack during happier times, said no marriage is perfect and she went on to share advice for women looking for that perfect man (hint: he doesn't exist).

Mrs. Obama said searching for a suitable life partner is like assembling an all-star basketball team.

"You want LeBron (James). You don't want the guy, third row on the bench, who didn't make the team, but we often don't think about that," she shares.

"What you're supposed to say, is, 'I have married LeBron. My version of LeBron,'" said Michelle.

Some social media users took that as a diss toward women like singer Monica Arnold, who married L.A. Lakers bench warmer Shannon Brown, only to see him get cut by the team a year later. Brown is now a used car salesman in Atlanta.

The 'Becoming' author also stressed the importance of giving yourself time to see the person you're dating "in an array of situations," and insists, "You can't Tinder your way into a long-term relationship."

"There's no magic way to make that happen except getting the basics of finding somebody, being honest about wanting to be with them, to date them seriously, to plan on making a commitment, to date them, seeing where it goes, and then making it happen," she adds.

Kim Kardashian-West says she has made sacrifices and totally compromises for Kanye West as he goes through a midlife change.

Kim stopped by The Real daytime talk show on Wednesday and suggested the rap musician, who turned his back on secular music, is going through a midlife crisis.

Kanye gave up rap music to preach to the unwashed masses during his popular Sunday Service gospel revival tour. Kim told The Real co-hosts that she supports her 42-year-old husband while he embarks on his religious journey. "I obviously want to honor him and what he's feeling. And he's been going through this life change," she said.

The West Coast socialite revealed she fights with her husband over the differences in their approach to raising their children since he became a born-again Christian.

The 39-year-old mother of four said Kanye removed the televisions from their children's bedrooms and he forbid 6-year-old North West from wearing lipstick.

"He's very cautious about what we have in the house. We got rid of TVs in the kids' room and removed makeup from North's room. He's had this epiphany of being this... not that he wasn't an amazing dad, but being more strict as a dad and very forceful on the imagery that's in our household and what they see."

She said she has had to compromise as Kanye becomes "more strict" as a dad. She said they sometimes fight over his excessive demands. Rumor has it that he went through her closets and ordered her to stop dressing in half naked clothing.

"I think, at the end of the day, that's what marriage is. He's going to do things that I don't agree with and I support him and vice versa."
