The 16th Annual Trumpet Awards took place on Sunday (JAN 13) at the Civic Center in Atlanta. It was a black tie affair with dignitaries from the fields of entertainment, politics and medicine gracing the red carpet. The night’s biggest honoree Halle Berry was a no-show because her doctor wouldn’t give her the green slip to travel.
