Some cats get into the rap game for the cars, riches and clothes. But the wanna be ballers are soon exposed and quickly dispatched when their records flop. M.J. DA Weatherman, real name Michael Jackson, enters the game with his pockets already fat.
He’s not related to the famous Jacksons, but he has the women, cars and clothes, not to mention a fat portfolio, his own businesses, and investment property.
He’s a business man first and a rapper second. He also has an abundance of talent and charisma that has already garnered the attention of movers and shakers like Greg Street of V-103, DJ Khaled and Rick Ross, both of whom appeared on DA Weatherman’s mixtapes.
One of DA Weatherman’s tracks called “Hood On Fire” is so hot it slayed the competition on Greg Streets popular “Street Fights” segment all this week on V-103.

Hood On Fire
He’s known as DA weatherman because he brings it like the weatherman, rain, heat or snow. It wasn’t always C.R.E.A.M. for DA Weatherman who grew up homeless in the streets. From a young age, his motto was “What don’t kill you, makes you stronger!”
His famous name gave him the incentive to build a better life for himself and his family. Now he dreams of opening shelters and buildings for the homeless, and helping those who needs help. M.J. DA Weatherman has weathered the storm. “I am blessed and know that if God can bring me and my family from staying in empty houses and vans, then He can and will do it for anyone!,” says DA Weatherman.
His work ethic is impressive. He records and distributes his own mixtapes every week around the country on his Money Maker Records label.

It’s nice to hear young men doing good things in the community so many of us get wrapped up in our daily lives that we tend to forget those who are truely in-need. So Kudos to him!
P.S. I havent heard any music from him, Oh GOD I hope it doesnt sound the 95% of Rap music today….
The song is decent. Glad he’s giving back.
This is the type of stories I like to read about individuals in the rap community. Hopefully, this story will spread as fast as the V.F. story did. LOL
I LOVE it!!! Keep doing what ya do Weatherman!
SR,
this must be ur cousin or u must owe somebody bcuz ive never seen u post a whole press release for an unknown…lol!!
Im really impressed, it’s rare that you find someone in the rap game doing it for a purpose & not just shine or whatever!! & then he was already a businessman before he started, that’s the whole point isn’t it? I think back in the day & even now Master P was the one of a very few who took his money from his music & invested it, started a few businesses & etc etc alot of rappers have given him credit for that or tried to follow in his footsteps so good luck to Da Weatherman I’m sure he will be around for along time & not only that he looks very handsome in that pic…Hi you doin(lol)
It’s a good thing he’s not into it for money, because this snippet I just heard isn’t offering anything new.
Kudos to him for doing his thing in a positive way. **clap clap clap***
Now as for the song. All I had to here him say was I love these streets and I ain’t gon’ change and I was done. It’s that mentality that makes some people think hustling is a career, instead of a means to an end.
