If you’re a regular reader then you know that I don’t think Senator Barack Obama stands a chance in hell will win in November. Obama will lose the election because he’s going up against the same system that helped George Bush engineer one of the biggest heists in history: stealing the 2000 presidential election from Al Gore.
I’m not well versed in politics and I’m not a gifted writer who can eloquently weave a story out of the printed word. So I’m going to let Divalina break it down for you:
OBAMA HASN’T WON YET. WHAT IS MOST IMPORTANT, IS THE PRESIDENCY. TO REALLY WIN, TO HAVE A CHANCE TO ACTUALLY AFFECT YOUR LIFE- HE STILL HAS TO GET PAST A VERY RACIST WHITE MAJORITY OF REGISTERED VOTERS. NOTICE THAT I USED THE WORDS REGISTERED VOTERS. HE CAN ONLY BE PRESIDENT, WITH YOU REGISTERING TO VOTE, AND GETTING YO ASS AWAY FROM THE TV, THE CELL PHONE, THE INTERNET, AND THE JOB, AND TAKING THAT DAY TO VOTE FOR HIM, THUS TRUMPING THE OLD, RACIST, BACKWARDS GENERATION WHO WILL BE OUT IN FULL FORCE TO MAKE SURE THIS DOESN’T HAPPEN PURELY ON THE COLOR OF HIS SKIN, WHICH IS DISGUSTING.
Please take a moment to go over and read Divalina’s entire post so you can better understand why Obama won’t win in November.
Hopefully he will win! I can smell the fried chicken coming from the kitchen in the White House already!!!!
I Beg to differ, And he will be the next President of the United States
I can’t even begin to take and ALL CAPS comment seriously.
There is no way that McCain will beat President Obama. I predict President Obama will win by a landslide.
Y’all negroes STILL aint got the audacity to hope. SMH
i agree w/sandra on this. obama needs hillary on the ticket to have a chance in h*ll of beating mccain. too many white radicals that don’t want to see this man in office. but, congrats to him!
Thank you Smokie, some of these negros,Asians,Latinos and caucasians are under the impression were still back in the 1800s with the shackles on.
I need everyone to wake up and feel the freedom and I need everyone to fight for and welcome the change thats getting ready to occur.
This is what’s wrong with black folks. We can’t wait to tear another brother/sister down because we are not trying to do anything or are simply unhappy with ourselves. Why not have the “audacity to hope” that Obama can win. We live in a multiracial generation. Obamam securing the nomination is proof of this. Some of you all need to stop living in the 60’s and look towards the future. You all were the negroes left behind on the underground railroad because you don’t believe you can win. You’re sounding like the crows on The Wiz. Please dispense with this negativity. “I love my black people, but I hate ni$$ers” is what Chris Rock said and I agree wholeheartedly!
It can happen. I am just upset that I know it won’t come close to happening without Hillary on the ticket. I am not liking her right now. I did like her speech last night.
I will still be casting my vote for Obama come November. I am an optimistic person so I am encouraging everyone to vote for Obama.
First of all, democratic politicians are SICK of the Clintons. This has been evident from day one. The superdelegates didn’t commit to Pres. Obama just to have another Clinton in the White House. Clearly, the message was: YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND ARE NOT WELCOME HERE. If that were not the case, the superdelegates would have went along with Hillary Clintons “popular vote” majority and chose her as the democratic nominee. They did just the opposite and endorsed Pres. Obama, and they’d been endorsing him since the very beginning.
And Pres. Obama is no fool. I believe he has sense enough not to try to run the country with Bill Clinton nipping at his heels for the next 4-8 years.
I predict that Pres. Obama will choose Edwards or Richardson as his VP. I strongly doubt that the She Devil will be on the ticket. She better get comfortable in that Senators seat.
Also, when you put Obama against old rusty dusty McCain, there is NO way that the majority of intelligent, young, professional, black, white, Latino, etc. Americans will vote for McCain. The MEDIA wants you to believe this but this is untrue.
Obama WILL win by a landslide. Stop not believing in the power of the Black man. It’s their time to shine. BELIEVE IT!!!!!!!!!! Everything begins with BELIEF.
At the beginning of the campaign, I predicted that Obama would win the nomination. People laughed me off. Do you people really not believe in yourselves any more than THIS? Change is upon us. ACCEPT IT and EMBRACE IT!!!!!
@ Datbury
Well said…many said that he would win the Democratic party and he proved them wrong…many more are saying he won’t win the presidency…and he will prove them wrong yet again.
Some points in the post were true like this:
HE CAN ONLY BE PRESIDENT, WITH YOU REGISTERING TO VOTE, AND GETTING YO ASS AWAY FROM THE TV, THE CELL PHONE, THE INTERNET, AND THE JOB, AND TAKING THAT DAY TO VOTE FOR HIM.
So with that being said we got to pull together to get him in there.
understand that everyone’s opinion is valid on this blog. no need to be name calling and calling folks n*ggas truly unnecessary.
People like you that have that mentality is the reason we as blacks can’t get any where. We always doubt ourselves. You have to believe in something for it to happen.Obama is CHANGE and thats what we need. That’s just like us saying u won’t be blogger of the year because of the “system”. When i see Obama i see motivation, strength and courage. He is an inspiration. Ask ur parents would they have thought that they would see a black man as president while they were alive.No! This is history.Sandra please embrace the moment and stop being a hater!!
word mistake…”wouldn’t”..lol
It WILL happen. Barack Obama will be the next President of the United States of America.
This man has recruited all types of voters, who had never taken the time to cast a vote before.
He has run one of the best and most organized political campaigns in the history of this country.
Contrary to Hillary’s math, HE HAS won more votes than any other candidate in history.
Six months ago we were being told that Barack would never win the nomination, he would be out of the running after the first few primaries.
Well, here we are in June 2008 (exactly 200 years after the end of the slave trade) and we have our first African American Presidential nominee and the haters and nay-sayers have gone into overdrive trying to downplay the importance and historical significance of his win.
I won’t let the negativity get to me, though. I will not be swayed. Barack Obama WILL BE the next POTUS!!
read it again j-lo843 “would” is correct lol
@ Smokie
What many are failing to realize is that not only does Obabma have the votes of the minorities but those of “white america” .”White america” is tired of the ways that the republicans are running this country…they want a change too. So McCain can hang it up.

Thank you. ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. In the darkest night, you can see the brightest stars!!!! It is time for ALL OF US to STOP being so negative. DAMN!
I strongly disagree with her words, obama got where he got with the white vote ! yes blacks havae to vote but blacks represent a mere 12% of the population, which is very insufficient to make it to the white house, and she seems to think every white person will vote for mc cain…smh!
i`m afraid of the hillary clinton supporters, obama has to do everything he can to reconcile himself with that electorate if not….then the writing may be on the wall in the weeks ahead
November hasn’t even got here yet. Where is the faith, the hope people! It is possible.
Don’t forget your local elections.
Wellllllll I’ve BEEN registerd to vote and surely will be voting in Nov., and am encouraging everyone I know to vote.
Congrats! on Barack winning the nomination! I don’t know if he is going to be our next president it would be nice but however I don’t think this will happen unless a God given miracle happens
UPDATE: BET Founder Bob Johnson is asking the Congressional Black Caucus to pressure Sen. Barack Obama to make Hillary Clinton his Vice Presidential running mate.

That’s what ppl don’t realize, we are not just minorities because of our color but we are minorities because we are only 12% of the US population. Obama needs to choose his VP wisely. We need the white vote.
I truly believe Obama CAN win in Nov … if All the folk that Voted in the Primary .. VOTE in Nov .. he’s a Lock In
You HAVE to register AND Vote.
One of the first things I’d like to see changed is the Voting ACT for Blacks (yall can call yourselves African American’s) .. We should have to let Congress VOTE on OUR right to Vote Every 20 years … it doesn’t need to be a ACT .. it NEEDS TO BE A LAW !!!
I definitely can’t wait until November so that all the naysayers will eat their words. He is walking in his divine destiny. Period. YES WE CAN!!!

If he puts Hillz on the ticket, they are going to have to do some HEAVY AZZ CAMPAIGNING in Chicago to get me to vote for them…..Hillz has really changed my thoughts of her as a politician…and not in a good way.
If he puts Hillz on the ticket, McCain will be the next President.
I agree that we all need to register and vote in November so that Obama will become the next president. He is so close that I just know he will win!…When you compare Obama to McCain, McCain does not stand a chance.
I don’t think that Obama should choose Clinton as his VP. Her unwillingness to concede last night, shows that she will have a problem being #2. I think that she would be better utilized somewhere on his cabinet promoting her universal healthcare policy or his secretary of defense.
Why does this look like the cover of one of those Jehovah Witness pamphlets?
Let me show you JUST how racist America still is. Early this morning, I went to this website, a very popular, self-sufficient, money-making website: http://news.yahoo.com. There were just 3 pictures on this site at this time: one of Senator McCain on the left, Senator Obama on the right with a caption that read for both: McCain vs Obama. Right next to Obama’s handsome picture was a much, much smaller picture of a thuggish-looking black man and his caption read: Thief caught red-panted (he’d stolen something and the dye got on his pants or something like this.) What subliminal message were they trying to send Americans? As of 1:47, the picture has been removed but the negative damage has already been done.
Yahoo did the same thing when Katrina victims were photographed with goods. A white man’s caption read “Katrina survivors find food” and the black man’s caption read “Katrina survivors steal food.” Same principal at work here or lack thereof.
Once again, when will the color of ones skin not matter in America? If our REAL ENEMIES ever succeed in dropping that nuclear bomb on this great nation, then and only then will the color of one’s skin not matter ’cause we won’t have any.
But for now: OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT, OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT, OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dr. King has turned back over in his grave!

~~~i personally like hillary. he needs her in my opinion to win. this will all come down to race. there are some people in this world will not vote for him because of his race alone.~~~~
Racism still exists in America, but so does progress. Obama would not be where he is if racism was so prominent. Its time to get rid of the victim mentality, people. Our entitlement is accompanied with hard work, not hand outs. Stop blaming whitey and do like Spike Lee on “School Daze” and wake up.
I think Obama will win, but they will try everything up their sleeve to help McCain win. The difference between last Presidential run was it was the first time someone had so openly cheated as Bush did, we never seen anything like it before. Obama is a phenomenon- this man becomes senate for 4 years then out the blue runs for President. He will need to have someone from his camp at every voting location to make sure they don’t try to cheat him; because of course, you know they will try the best.
Honestly, I don’t care if Hillary or Obama wins, as long as McCain doesn’t. The man may not even be able to campaign, he’s 71 years old!!! He looks tired and ran down already. Can we really take looking at his ugly mug for 4 years? Bush and Cheney pulled him out of his nursing home and made him run to keep a rich Republican running the country.
smokie said it best….i agree. i think sandra WANTS mccain to win….why all the negativity towards obama sandra??? it’s like you don’t want him to win!
No, he won’t win. He won’t win because besides the pretty speeches, he is a terrible candidate. Anytime John McCain is the lesser of two evils, that’s saying something.
wow sucks when black people can’t believe and have hope. i think obama will win cause i believe and have hope.
for once can’t we just be positive.
Why they trying to make Obama look like Superman?
As far as an Obama/Clinton ticket, just maybe that would work. I’m just not sure how many racist sexists are registered to vote.
Where as McCain, if anyone saw SNL, has the “oldness” and he was in World War I, I mean Vietnam.
Just go out there and vote in November and see what happens. Either way it’ll be a surprise. In the end, we’ll all be fine, we still have our block captains, councilmen, mayors, governors, congressmen and senators that are more important to our well being than the President.
And if Obama does become President, do you think he’ll take the Native Americans off reservations???
Can Congressman John Conyers’ bill finally get passed for Reparations For Slavery???
Now that’s CHANGE!!!
Sorry, I can’t vote for him simply because he’s black. If that’s the only reason you all support him, that’s great. But I believe in voting for the best candidate, and in my humble opinion, that is not Barack Obama.
Great! Now I know he’s gonna win.
