Nigger Nas found out the hard way that too many gimmicks can backfire in his face. NN who has always relied on gimmicks to promote his albums, now realizes he made a mistake when he decided to name his album Nigger. The backlash against NN and his girlfriend Kelis has resulted in the cancellation of their reality show.

According to online reports, only two episodes were ever filmed before production was halted. Apparently NN and Kelis could find no takers for the show and the show’s production budget was depleted. The couple tell friends that it was NN’s decision to cancel production. NN says: “It was boring. We were too guarded. We weren’t ready.”
