Santogold, aka Santi White, is extremely talented. You can tell she’s talented because she’s achieved amazing crossover appeal in this new LSITNB era. Now if Santogold had no talent, it would be necessary for her to look like Beyonce, Ashanti, Cassie, or Mya – to achieve any measure of success.
Please don’t blame me for making that analogy – blame yourselves for allowing no talent singers like them to muck up the musical landscape so real singers like Monica or Trina Broussard have to work twice as hard to get a hit record.
Anyway, I guess I should be happy that a Nubian sister is getting some love from the establishment without having to wear any tail feathers at all.
