The video for Bey’s single “If I Were a Boy” is a boring, confusing mess. It’s painfully obvious that Beyonce is a one-dimensional actress with no ability to convey emotion on a small screen.

Her acting is laughable and distracts from the overall message of the video — if there is even one.

Thanks to all who sent this vid to me, but I stopped it at the 1:14 mark. Pouring out a little liquor for the brain cells I lost watching that garbage.

i peeped this last night before her people did damage control and took it down. i understand it, but i still don’t like it. That BC Jean should kept this for herself. it’ll be funny to see if Bey gets writing credit for this even tho it was written and recorded for someone else months ago lol

anyway i did not like the song before the video…but now i actually like it…but with the video more then anything…the vid fit the song perfectly and if you hadda watched past the 1 minute mark you probably would of understood duh lol…anyway Good Job bee. And the vid is much more intimate and meaningful then “like a boy” so please dont start lol.

I’d love to know what Jay has done to hurt her so bad because even though she keeps it to herself it surfaces during her music. Pretty sure that is why she added “why r u being so jealous? it’s not like I’m sleeping with her”. Lol! That’s what he said when she questioned Jay about spending so much time w/Rihanna. LOL! bey looks beautiful in the video but i’m not too feeling the song. it’s too long and boring. the song sounds like avril lavigne should be singing it but then again , doesn’t hurt to try something new.

I liked BC Jean version better. Beyonce really can’t act. Everytime she did a line I just felt like laughing for some reason. I am sure it will blow up cause of the record label and the stans who loves everything she puts out. I am not really feeling single ladies either. Sorry.

Girl I was thinking the very same thing. Sometimes she makes it soooo obvious. From what I can see in this video JayZ is the male cop and Rihanna is the female cop and in real life those two were spending alot of time together because they worked together also.

The video is fine. But after watching it once, I don’t want to watch it again. The song still isn’t strong enough for me to buy her album. “Single Ladies” is downright awful. When it comes on the radio, I change the station.
