Yesterday we wrote about Bryan “Baby” Williams and how he came into his Arab money.

Baby and his brother Ronald Williams, co-founders of Cash Money Records, were profiled on MSNBC’s documentary “NEWBOs: The Rise of America’s New Black Overclass.” In the documentary, Baby flashes millions in cash, cars, opulent gold, and authentic diamond jewelry. No fake Hip Hop ice there.

Hoping to get lucky, hundreds of thirsty single (and married) women packed into Baby’s birthday bash at The Velvet Room last Sunday night to do a little gold digging of their own.

I’m not going to say what I would or wouldn’t do bc I have laid down with a man or two in my life that I wish I could erase from my past…. & their money was nowhere as long as Bryan’s.

Sandra, thanks for sharing. I have to admit I respect their hustle, but I just wish they would stop being so new-money-flashy, and consider how their boastful extravagent images affect so many of our youth that are still stuck in the hood. I don’t hear them rapping about getting an education and the importance of maintaining a clean record in order to be competive in the REAL world. So many of our young men try to emulate the lifesytles they see portrayed by these irresponsible entertainers by taking the quickest and lamest route – becoming dope boys.

They are definately hustlers. I like the fact that Slim is not as boastful with his money. You never see him in the club and he never wears anything flashy when you do see him. Baby is a “brand” all that f*ckery he has on is an image. Both dudes are no doubt intelligent with business. I wish they can spread that in the black community to show that its not all about playing sports or making music.

As a side note, I seriously doubt all that money is from music alone. I have a strong intution that is some drug money mixed in. Someone had to supply all the fiends in the N.O. Some of those 20 houses that got damaged in Katrina were probably trap houses as well as rental properties. I know they have been smart with investments and other things but I’m not convinced that all that is just from music alone.

@ Imalover while I agree with you 100%. As a parent of a young black male I’m going to have to say that’s where a parent is suppose to step in and teach/show your child through guidance. You can not expect for people who don’t know you to raise you.

That’s just my opinion as a mother.

Hmmm, Baby and Arab money is very hard to believe. You need to ask him why ALL his people around him left, talking about people that held him down from the very beginning. People that would have taken bullets for him. His raster used to be TQ, Tateezee, Boo & Gotti, Mickey, Tina Marie, and several others they all used to ball out together but then everybody just gone! wonder why.

Also that sh!t of who is really ballin, Until we can see “REAL” bank statements everything is just plain hearsay. I think everybody should be required to provide certified bank statement that will allow them to say that they have this and that. It would cut out about 95% of the exaggeration

@ icecream… and I agree with you 100% too. I am by no means ommitting the parent’s responsibility to thier children by editing their entertainment choices and provide for them sound and realistic morals and values that upbuild humanity rather than decay it. So yeah, we’re here (eye to eye).

I seen his house sandra he aint ballin like yoiu saying dont let the rented cars and rented jewlery in a rented club fool you. He lives in the new orleans subuirbs in about a 500,000K house. this whole100 MIll or Bill or whatever you was reporting is false.
