Struggling R&B artist Trey Songz performed live at BMI’s 12th annual Unsigned Urban Showcase at E.S.S.O. Nightclub in Atlanta last night. I’m sure some of you cougars remember this cute blast from the past. Taimak is one of the few actors who will always be remembered for just one role he played: as Leroy in The Last Dragon. LisaRaye is another such actor who will be remembered for one role.

Industry veteran Phillana Williams attended the Artist Managers From A – Z (Urban Committee Event) at New York Chapter Office yesterday. I LOVE her! She is the consummate professional. Phillana looked out for me back in the 90s by hiring me to shoot events when she worked for LaFace Records. She is the former manager of Ciara (has anyone seen her lately?) who now manages TIffany Evans and rap artist Diamond, formerly of Crime Mob. ok, most look good, i must admit. Taimak, i agree Sandra (one role). Sandra, you gotta check out CIVIL BRAND with LisaRaye. That movie went under the radar. Is it true that if you only have one good side to be photographed from that ur not really photogenic? i think nicole’s a victim of that. there are some people u see who look like hell but can take a good pic no matter what.

oh yeah, trey songz can have it any way he wants it. he and nick cannon. JD of all people huh. sometimes i think artists should seek out up and coming people. Those people are hungry. JD..well, he aint got it no more. he HAS to work with established artists with fan base in place.

trey looks like hes reaching, youll see an ordinary dude at the club with gucci signature loafers on. you see industry folks with gucci but not with it plastered all on the shoes, it doesnt have to be signature to prove what it is folks!!

JD is not great with every artist but hopefully he can do something for Trey, he’s got that “it” factor in him that just needs to be brought out. J.Holiday is another one. I’m not with the blouse thing…not cute and it looks desperate.

Hello All. Never understood what Eddie saw in his ex-wife Nicole. He must be hooked on light-skin, so sad, one misses out on so many good-looking folks when they’re stuck on color, like so many of our men are.
