The newly formed Dunwoody Police Department has its first kidnapping case. The Dunwoody police, who received their badges on Tuesday and hit the streets for the first time Wednesday, are investigating the kidnapping of a suspected drug dealer.
At first I wasn’t going to post this information because there are too many holes in the story. But loyal reader Amberle cleared up some of the questions.

The wsbtv’s information was slightly incorrect. He isn’t Jamaican and his southern accent is not all Jamaican!!! And his nickname isn’t “cane” its “Kane” thats who everyone knows him as. And he isn’t 6’10 he’s 6’6-6’7. And ur right how did they do that? I honestly believe it was a set up amongst the women there. Triflin Atlanta women. I don’t understand how two robbers storm into his placed (which is always heavily secured) and just leave the women (who saw their faces) it doesn’t add up whatsoever.

The Dunwoody Police Department said they are looking for a man who was kidnapped from his apartment early Thursday morning.
Police said 32-year-old Kerry Lee Hayes was kidnapped from the Gables Apartments on Perimeter Center East just after 1 a.m. during a robbery attempt.
Witnesses on the scene told police two black males with Jamaican accents entered the apartment, demanded money, and kidnapped Hayes.
Hayes is originally from Jamaica and goes by the name “Cane.”
Officials said one of the suspects was armed with a semi-automatic pistol. The other suspect also was armed but there was no description of the weapon. Police continue to investigate.
If anyone has information about this crime, please call Dunwoody police at (678) 533-0737.

OMG!!! I’m SO SO glad I decided NOT to move there! I hope dude turns up okay.
How about trifling “suspected drugs dealers”? How about that?!
Uhhhmmm…
Where I’m from…in Chicago…that’s the “drug dealer’s creed”…
Sometimes, you get caught up…SOMETIMES…only sometimes…
An “illegal pharmaceutical consultant’s” girl get tired of him taking all the ill gotten gain and making it rain on those “female garden equipment” at the Skkyboxx…and having said “equipment” show up at her house with kids who look just like her man…talk crazy to her in the street…and try and beat her down when she’s out in the club with her girls…so she calls her cousin “Bouyah”…who just got out of Cook County doing 2-7…and “Bouyah” and his boys rustle up said “illegal pharmaceutical consultant”…and the rest is urban history…
I’m just saying…
He was a good brother, I know him personally. Yea I think it was a set up, so that goes to show you can never trust anyone. Hey Sandra I wish they gave names of the women who where there as he was kidnapped… If I knew who it was it would give me a better idea of their “characters”… I’m always on the scene and I know women who are pimped into setting dudes up… It’s a dirty game out here…
If he’s a suspected drug dealer isn’t his kidnapping an occupational hazard? Good brother or not, (i can’t reconcile good people doing clearly bad things) who gives a fluck?
201 .. thats a NJ area code …
@ KaraZ
SUSPECTED is only an assumption. He has never been convicted on drug charges, so what evidence do you have to support you statement? Just off “he say she say”
The lifestlye I live hell people may think I deal drugs lol
lets keep it funky, we already know the outcome to this tragedy! it’s gonna be alot of slow singing and flower bringing if my burglar alarm starts ringin!
awww sh$t I guess its time to move from the Dunwoody area
I am so sorry to hear about this. I grew up with him and his family, so this is very sad. I am from GA and yes, there are alot of trifling women in the ATL. Men beware of who you picking up and taking them home with you. I will keep him and his family in my prayers.
