Lil Wayne: ‘The mothers of my kids are great’

According to Contactnews.com, Lil Wayne is very appreciative of his baby mamas for allowing him to speak to his seeds while he’s busy sowing his oats all over the world:

He said: “The mothers of my kids are great… If I’m calling at three in the morning because I’m in Europe, they’re willing to jump on that call: ‘Wake up! It’s your daddy’. If I haven’t seen my daughter (Reginae, 10) in two months and want to see her, her mum’s packing her stuff up, asking where to send it.”

Lil Wayne is so trifling! Unless he’s the CEO of a fortune 500 company, there’s no excuse for seeing his kids every two months.

while not a lil wayne fan hes artist he travels all across the country and world its hard to be there for the kids everyday, he seems to be a better dad than some, he provides at least or so i read

He’s a better dad than some men who live two blocks away.

He is a brand so he is the president of his own company in a sense.

I know when homegirl gets that call she is glad to get a break. Parenting does not come with instructions & after a while you enjoy that me time.

Artist usually go long periods of time without seeing their kids when they are on tour…it is the curse of fame. This is why i didn’t comment on your Solonge post. Even though she wasted the TOUR BUS GAS making trips to entertain 20 people.

Dang Sandra, i don’t like lil wayne myself but why you got to twist Weezy’s words around like that… he didn’t say every two months i see my kids.. he was just basically saying that if it’s been a minuet its coo that I can just call to see them with no problems..

Li’l Wayne seems to be a better dad from another continent than most deadbeats who live next door to their kids.

Personally, I can’t stand rap and I think Li’l Wayne looks like a corpse but I give him his props for at least wanting to see his children.

YAll know she did……in the RECESSION at that…leaving thousands of hungry children to die without food because of it. SO she can get on stage with triangle make up and synthetic weave BRAIDs for head bands and humm for 8 people…shyt the more I think about how stupid that cd sounds the LESS people I imagine in the crowd.

I do agree with those who state that Wayne is a better father than most….shyt Diddy wouldn’t even claim Chance, Wayne didn’t hesitate to announce the birth of his jump off’s baby to the world, and even assisted in his birth. I think its safe to say he loves his children dearly.

mmmm hmmmm, aint that sad gurl….but they say he didn’t do right by that child anyway…wouldn’t help take care of her like he should have, wouldn’t go and see her, and he wasn’t touring in NO EUROPE. Niccas now a days are so deadbeat, he make me think he glad about what happened to that baby, I guess now he doesn’t have that to worry about anymore. WHEW!! NO what is trifling is the Mama waking the kids up in the middle of the night. Hell, why can’t he wake up in the middle of the night to speak to them during THEIR day time. I am just saying….

Oh, but I will give him props for waiting to talk to and see his kids. And I am sure if he is seeing them he is taking care of them finanically. I HATE rap but Go Wayne!

but he provides financially for his kids

he thinks about them and wants to see them even when his daily life is totally chaotic due to being on the road

he claims all his kids

No man, regardless of his occupation, has an excuse for being absent from his children’s lives. If the most powerful man on earth, President Obama, can attend his children’s parent/teacher conferences, go on Easter Egg hunts, be home with his kids to help them welcome their new puppy, then any man can find the time to be a father.

With that written, Lil’ Wayne acknowledges all of his children and from what I’ve seen spends time with his kids. The man travels because he’s on tour. He’s doing his job — entertaining. Also, it’d be extremely irresponsible to have his kids on the road with him as it’d be disruptive to their established routines. Especially, his 10-year who is in school.

So, what’s your gripe again Sandra.
