One of the Fake Housewives of Atlanta called into the local Steve McCoy and Vikki Locke radio show yesterday just after they’d finished interviewing a writer who wrote a cover story on the RHOA for Atlanta mag.
Kim Z. launched into a tirade (that had publicity stunt written all over it) about what the writer should or shouldn’t have written about her. She was particularly upset that the chick wrote about her smoking in front of her kids, which AJC writer Richard Eldredge points out is info anyone can glean from watching the show.
“Don’t talk about my kids,” Zolciak snapped on air, as if on cue. “Irregardless [sic] there was no need to write that…The show is for entertainment purposes.”
Kim also objected to the title of the story, “Trashionistas.” “I expect that kind of story in the Star, not in your hometown magazine,” she whined.
Amanda Brown Heckert, the writer, explained her story title: “An ‘ista’ of any kind is someone who works something to their advantage. These women are peddlers of trash and that works for them.”
Listen to the audio of the call here.
Not only does she smoke in front of her kids..i lost all respect when she got mad at the nanny for telling her daughter she was going to hell becuz of her actions…KIM SHE WAS TELLING THE TRUTH…ur raising girls..ima need you to step your parenting game up while you on TV perpretrating a fraud
I can’t lie Im actually getting turned off to the whole damn show….all of em fake and fony even NeNe now….Kandi seems down to earth, but thats probably because she’s new to scandal next season she’ll be on the same shyt. I’m really not interested in “na’an” one of em’ publicity stunts included.
Hey fly!!!
I wonder if she smells like an astray.
Hey Fly (waving) <<<—- we need a smiley 4 that.
Anyway
I disagree. I thought that Nanny was out of line telling that child she was going to hell. I remember being a child and singing church songs… rise and shine and give God the Glory, glory. Which had a lil hand action. In this day and age the church sings, raps ect. I don’t know what the child did that was so wrong. Then the chick left them in the house to get some tampons!
@Krysi – I feel the same way. Kept thinking it would get better with each episode, but nope. Everything is so predictable now. Anything else interesting on the tube?
@ Isc, I agree I didn’t like dat shyt either.
But what I didn’t understand is how she walked outta that house with a job that day?? I guess Im the only one who would have politely FIRED her azz right then.
@ KayC well if ya like explotation and cracking up watching bisexual men pretend to like women Real and Chance is entertaining.
*exploitation*
@ Krysi
One thing about Real & Chance is they don’t tolerate ghetto hood slut bytches. Those are the first to go. So glad they got rid of big mouth, big butt, junk.
And am I the only one who feels they aren’t into black women? Why did Real let that black girl go for that drunken, crying, crator face Chance girl…
No I disagreed with the nanny telling the kids they were going to hell but only because of the way she said it. It should be explained to them that your to have respect for the Lord and shakin your behind isn’t how you do it.
I think there is place in church for both traditional and new age gospel music and even rap. As long as they are giving God glory and reaching people thats all that matters in my book. I loved when my church started singing hymns again a few yrs back.
I wish some Christians would realize we do NOT have a heaven or hell to put anybody in! I am perfectly ok letting God handle all that lol
Team NeNe!
@ Mia
yea its a way for KIM to say it as there mother, but there is nothing appropriate about it coming from a 1st day Nanny.
If a nanny would’ve told my kids they were going to hell because of dancing while singing a prayer I would’ve lit her azz up? Who confirmed that there was only one way as the right way to worship the Lord? Keep the kids interested while still learning about the word.
As far as the RHOA, I think the Kim and Lisa are the same. I’ve said a few times that NeNe has changed and Sheree has went from classy to straight good on us. Kandi is new but from what I hear what you see is what you get. They say she’s nice but doesn’t play (meaning she’ll fight NeNe’s tall azz..lol).
Now Real Chance of Love. I’ve said since Season 1 that they really aren’t into black woman, especially Real. I think they’re just on the show for fillers.
When is someone going to call out this $500/hr hooker? She can’t even hide her hooking this season, that’s what writers should be admonishing her for not just the smoking.
It’s REGARDLESS Kimmy! If I had Big Poppa money I would be a fulltime college student. Her simple azz didn’t even want to complete a short cosmotology course to further her knowledge in becoming a credible wig manufacturer.
Well hold on. I don’t think you should sacrifice respect simply for interest. They’re interested in these songs with all this cussin in it. So do we add curse words and the jerk to the Word in order to keep kids interested. No!
I think it’s okay to add a little something (for interest sake) to the Word as long as it’s been taught the correct first.
@Krysi I agree that’s definately something that parents should discuss with their kids and really I don’t see Kim doing any of that.
Peddlers of trash.
Kim said she use to be an RN so she has a degree already
