One of the Fake Housewives of Atlanta called into the local Steve McCoy and Vikki Locke radio show yesterday just after they’d finished interviewing a writer who wrote a cover story on the RHOA for Atlanta mag.
Kim Z. launched into a tirade (that had publicity stunt written all over it) about what the writer should or shouldn’t have written about her. She was particularly upset that the chick wrote about her smoking in front of her kids, which AJC writer Richard Eldredge points out is info anyone can glean from watching the show.
“Don’t talk about my kids,” Zolciak snapped on air, as if on cue. “Irregardless [sic] there was no need to write that…The show is for entertainment purposes.”
Kim also objected to the title of the story, “Trashionistas.” “I expect that kind of story in the Star, not in your hometown magazine,” she whined.
Amanda Brown Heckert, the writer, explained her story title: “An ‘ista’ of any kind is someone who works something to their advantage. These women are peddlers of trash and that works for them.”
