According to the Drudge Report, Barack Obama has done a complete 360 and granted his arch nemesis Fox News its first ever interview.
In a small blurb on his popular news aggregate site, Matt Drudge wrote:
“Obama Grants FOXNEWS Interview, DRUDGE has learned; Major Garrett will conduct interview in China next week …”
But a White House official said in response to a query from Politico.com: “We’ve not committed to doing any presidential interviews during the trip to Asia with any outlets at this point,”
By now we know to believe half of what the White House says and all of what we see them do. Note that the official didn’t say the report is not true, just that it’s not accurate, meaning an interview with Fox is in the works but it may not take place in China next week.
This news comes on the heels of reports that Obama’s approval ratings are sliding south again.
