The sometimes eccentric and intensely private rock star Prince came out of his shell recently to grant London’s Daily Mail newspaper an exclusive interview.
During the interview, Prince declared the internet “over” and “outdated,” and said he refuses to use any form of digital technology to download his upcoming album.
Prince expressed displeasure with the online music distribution giant iTunes: “The internet is completely over. I don’t see why I should give my new music to iTunes or anyone else. They won’t pay me an advance for it and then they get angry when they can’t get it.”
