Jesus Christ Wins $10,000 for Top Halloween Costume at Velvet Room

The Lord and Savior Jesus Christ won the $10,000 top prize at Velvet Room’s Halloween costume extravaganza last night. Jesus caused quite a sensation on the Internet when party guests Twitpic’d his picture online. Some believers thought the costume was blasphemous. But despite the unease and concern, Jesus walked away with the ten thousand dollars.

Madea (who looked just like Tyler Perry) was the runner up.

Alex Gidewon and his boo Elsa Belai threw the best Halloween bash in the A last night.

The Glitterati came out in their best Halloween costumes. The final count was 27 Nicki Minajs, 17 Rihannas, 2 Madeas, 3 Rick Ross’, 3 Eddie Longs, a whole gang of Dead Presidents and way too many pimps and hookers.

But everyone had a great time. I can’t wait until next year when I finally walk away with the Grand Prize! I’m going to start on my costume in 6 months.

I know the history of Halloween but nowadays churches(some/mine) have come around and turned it into a day of worship. We had Trunk or Treat and we lined all the cars in the parking lot up and handed out candy to the children from our trunks…. I try to keep my children away from the demonic aspect of it though…my son was a scary joker and he wore the whole costume except the mask.
