Li’l Wayne Tweets ‘R.I.P.’ to Lamar Odom, Who Remains in Critical Condition

2 days after rapper Li’l Wayne‘s sex tape hit the Internets, his name trended on Twitter for an entirely different reason.

Wayne tweeted “R.I.P.” to former NBA star Lamar Odom, who remains in critical condition after overdosing on a cocktail of drugs at a Las Vegas brothel on Tuesday.

“R.I.P LO Dam man. My blessings to ur fam and friends,” Wayne tweeted Wednesday morning.

The drug-addled rapper was among a few celebrities who tweeted Odom was deceased. The confusion occurred when friends who were allowed in to see Odom spread the word that the 35-year-old former LA Laker was brain dead.

While Odom may technically be brain dead, he hasn’t been officially declared brain dead by doctors.

Odom was rushed to a local hospital on Tuesday evening after he was found unresponsive and in respiratory arrest in the VIP room at a Nevada whorehouse.

The brothel owner told a gossip blog that Odom spent 3 days partying with hookers at the Las Vegas ranch. Odom was “aided” by a herbal drug similar to the erectile dysfunction drug Viagra.

Odom is presently on a ventilator in the intensive care unit. He is reportedly unable to breathe on his own.

Odom’s estranged wife Khloe Kardashian, 31, rushed to his bedside on Tuesday with reality TV show cameras right behind her. But the camera crew was not allowed inside the intensive care unit.

Khloe Kardashian was blindsided at 6:45 AM Wednesday by soon-to-be ex-husband Lamar Odom, who launched a verbal attack.

Khloe was on her way into SoulCycle in Beverly Hills when Lamar came out of nowhere, screaming at her. An eyewitness tells us Lamar was demanding that she talk to him. She kept walking as he was screaming. At that point Lamar touched Khloe’s arm and she screamed at him, “Get off of me, get off of me. Stop. Stop.”

Another eyewitness asked Khloe if she wanted them to call the cops, and Lamar screamed, “You’re not going to call the cops on Lamar Odom.”

Khloe then screamed, “How did you know I was here?” He didn’t give a clear answer.

We’re told Khloe was visibly freaked out and bolted to her car and drove away.
