Great! Glad it went as planned! Mine’s sucked major monster balls! The only good news I got is on Friday when one of my bosses told me they submitted me for a raise.

Come Friday night…my man had ruined my weekend by making me yell, curse and scream at him…..the lil c*nt…

I used to work at several banks and that’s kind of true. They pay your bigger purchases first so that you can overdraft on a bunch of little sh*t. If you have $200 in the bank, and you pay an $175 bill, and make 12 purchases of $3 each. They’ll pay the $175 bill first so that they can hit you with OD fees 5x for the little $3 buys, instead of paying the $3 purchases first so you incur ONE OD fee for the $175.

I used to have explain that to people who’s account would miraculously have 7-8 OD fees for purchases under $10 all the time.

I think my job is really trying to keep me though- I think they can tell I’m starting to get that “I need more money” itch. They already told me that come Summer, my task order will change to me teleworking 4 days a week….

That bill is mostly for credit card companies, not banks who can work through debit. And the number of OD fees is limited as of like 2 years ago. I think they have to cap it at no more than 4-5 per day.

When I was working at the banks- 2006-2008, they were racking those OD fees up like crazy.

I’m with Wachovia and I have that thing where for every purchase I make, they put an extra $1 into my “Way 2 Save” account. And that account serves as my OD protection for my main checking so they just balance each other out. I used to transfer that $$ back into my checking once a week, now I haven’t touched it in well over 300 purchases ago…I’m kinda proud. Going to see how long I can let it build.

Yeah- some banks charge you for moving the cash from your savings to checking for OD protection. What bank are you with? If you have a “Way to Save” or “Keep the Change” account like at Wachovia or BofA, they should use that account as your OD protection for FREE. No charge for moving the money over.

You too?! I walked outside. Saw the skies and heard the rain. Went back upstairs and started wrapping my hair back up and taking my shoes off.

Then I decided just to be a “good” employee and come to work anyway…..(at least until my raise goes through).

Oh!! I have 7 accounts spread out at 3 banks. NONE of them make money off of me cause I don’t OD or nothing. If anything, I make money off of them cause I they pay me interest.

Yeah- Wachovia did get bought out by Wells Fargo, but all of the brancges here still say: “Wachovia” and just inside says: “a component of Wells Fargo bank.”

Yeah, I bank with M&T, Wachovia and a credit union. But I hated the customer service at BofA. They changed my credit card due date on me with NO notification knowing I had it electronically debited from my BofA checking account 3 days before the known due date, so they changed my due date to 2 days before they 3 days. They had paid my bill late and took late fee charges out for 2 months before I noticed. Bishes…

My bff went to Broadway on Satirday and saw “The Muthaf**ker with the Hat.” (It’s a Chris Rock production.) She said it was ok, not that funny for a usual CR production, but that all the white folks up there found it hilarious.

That’s HILARIOUS!! BTW: I don’t do public bathrooms either. I have driven 50 mins across town with my stomach hurting so bad I was crying just to go to my OWN damn bathroom. I just cannot…..

Me either. I’ve gots to be REAL close to you to use your bathroom. Right now, it’s only my house, my fav cousin’s house, or my moms house (cause she has 4 of them suckers spread out on 3 floors- I can do it without anyone knowing)

Try eating apples. Everytime I eat an apple, I have to go within an hour or so. It’s a good fiber source. I try to eat 1-2 apples a day to keep my regular.
