At one time Beyonce Knowles was the reigning queen of Pop — until she stumbled and was forced to give up her crown to Rihanna. Apparently she has never fully recovered from that public humiliation. Slowly, the paparazzi who once famously stalked Bey, stopped showing up at her appearances. Now I’m told that Bey’s people frequently call the wire services with Bey’s schedule, but to no avail. The paparazzi just aren’t interested in her any more. These pictures surfaced online over the weekend. They show a pale Beyonce with no makeup walking to her waiting limo with her loyal bodyguard, Julius. These new pictures have ignited old rumors that Beyonce is ill. I hope she’s okay.
Socialite Paris Hilton, 30, posed with a black baby at the Starlight Children’s Foundation 2011 “A Stellar Night” Gala in Century City, CA over the weekend. Hilton is still reeling from accusations of racism after shocking quotes attributed to her from an upcoming book surfaced online last week.
According to the LA Times, a book entitled “Everyone Loves You When You’re Dead: Journeys Into Fame and Madness” by Neil Strauss contains an encounter he had with the party loving heiress in 1999. Supposedly, Hilton met a biracial guy at another party the previous evening.
Hilton pointed the guy out to Strauss and said, “We were making out, but then we went somewhere where it was bright and I saw that he was black and made an excuse and left. I can’t stand black guys. I would never touch one. It’s gross.” When Strauss asked Hilton, “How black does a guy have to be?” she allegedly responded, “One percent is enough for me.”
