The White House today released uncensored, personal photos of the Obama family as they look ahead to their return to life as ordinary private citizens next year. It has been a tense 2 weeks in Washington for President Obama. The photos show the strain of the debt ceiling crisis etched on his face. Earlier today, alarming poll numbers confirmed Obama has lost his core base (young White voters) who helped put him in the White House.

If he wasn’t fighting for the middle class there definitely wouldn’t have been unemployment extensions, extensions for foreclosures, etc. I don’t think he has lost his fight but he is well within his rights. Refer to GAGIRL comment #14, unfortunately a majority of the Replubican party has that attitude. Their goal is to undemine him by any means. So to say he has lost his fight is unfair. Its like showing up to a gun battle with a box cutter. He has no chance at this rate because its not about whats best for the people.

I have to strongly disagree, its becuase of the decisions he’s made thus far that the middle class is still in tact somewhat. I’m glad I didnt beleive in magic and solely got my news from TV, or I would be relying on what wolf blitzer was feeding me every day or worse what fox news was trrying to feed me, thankfully black folks vote their intrest its white folk they are actually after didnt realize it until last year how guliable they really are. Again he is the right president at the wrong time. He is to forward thinking for this country, he’s trying to give you highspeed rail but your convinced amtrak is fine, when all other civilized countries have high speed rail. I heard about it a few years back…that it is very possible and allowed for another candidate of the same party to run against a president currently in office of the same party if they have strong enough backing…I want to say I saw it being discussed on one of those pundit talk sessions, or I possibly may have read it in a journal…
The reason why I remember that is because I did not think it could happen either, so I made a mental note that I was indeed wrong about the political possibilities in Washington….

Unfortunately having a forward thinking President means nothing if the states (that matter) all have psycho slashing Tea Party governors changing things at their core in ways that the whole country will see/feel eventually.
China’s railways of awesomeness took a serious blow recently, and its awful because it leaves all of those crazy governors I mentioned sitting back looking like their rejection of rail (I’m in Florida, for context) was actually the right choice.

I have an all new disdain for the way politics work in this country. Its so transparent their intentions to sabotage this man’s presidency. Damn near every bill and debate is ridiculed and scrutinized. I have never seen such a controversial and down right non respectful presidency. Mr. Obama you did the best you could do.

I heard about it a few years back…that it is very possible and allowed for another candidate of the same party to run against a president currently in office of the same party if they have strong enough backing…I want to say I saw it being discussed on one of those pundit talk sessions, or I possibly may have read it in a journal…
The reason why I remember that is because I did not think it could happen either, so I made a mental note that I was indeed wrong about the political possibilities in Washington….

Tisk, tisk, Sanday… Obama ain’t going anywhere. People may be upset with him, but they’re even more upset with the Rethuglians. The bottom is simple… those who support Obama and want to see him reelected will need to step-up even more next time around. Putting a Rethuglican in office as POTUS would be like injecting rat poison in our veins.
