So Diddy’s girlfriend Cassie really is insecure about her body?

Yesterday the Internets were buzzing about pseudo-singer Cassie’s new breast implants. But we were puzzled at the loose gossip surrounding rap mogul Sean “Diddy Combs’ young lover. Why would a woman who is already dating one of the richest rappers in the world have low self esteem and body image disturbance we thought.

But after checking Cassie’s Tumblr page, it is quite clear that she recently had her petite breasts upgraded.

It is sad that she took this drastic step when she’s only 24.

Before you youngsters make that appointment to get your own breasts augmented, you should know that it takes more than just a surplus of cash and nerves of steel to go under the knife.

It also takes a low self esteem and low self worth coupled with an unrealistic view of one’s body. Hopefully Cassie will get the help she needs to see that she is beautiful on the inside without all the surgical add-ons.

Low self esteem and insecurities have nothing to do with how you look and how beautiful you may be. It’s about your own perception. And doesn’t everyone has at least a smidgen of insecurity?

That is NOT true. I took my daughter to a plastic surgeon about 2 years ago for her breast. NOT BECAUSE she had low self esteem it was b/c she has NO breast tissue on top or under her breast. Its a congenital defect where her breast tissue grows into a constricted tube-like formation, thus making the boobs look like (IMO) egglant (or parenthesis (sp)) shaped tittays. It wasn’t done b/c of low self esteem. It was done for “medical” reasons. Cut that shat out Sandy. no pun intended…LOL

I agree w/ ur post SR. Having the desire to change and or simply enhance ur body is in essence not being happy or content w/ what God intended u to have. It’s a sign of low self esteem. Bigger boobs won’t bring u internal happiness. It only shows that u want to look like everyone else or follow the made in china trend. She wants to obviously look or appear better on the surface but what does that say about the values/morals u profess to live by from within? U can’t per-fect what u already don’t feel was perfected by God.

50 is not old. The majority of plastic surgery now are “baby boomers”. We are living longer, and healthier, older ppl want to continue to stay employed, yet know they have to compete w/20 somethings.

Hell I’m 8 months post op from my Tummy Tuck and if I had to do it all again, I say Hell Yes!!! Then again, I’m an advocate for plastic surgery (just not around the face area) I wanna get me some boobs too, but nothing crazy, just turn my full b cup to a full C cup. Man please, everytime I jump in the pool with my 2 piece and when i wear a fly azz dress with a flat stomach, I know I made the right choice!

Didn’t know there was an age requirement for an ADULT to get boobs. I don’t think self-esteem has anything to do with it. Maybe that was reaching a little too far Sandra. I personally wouldn’t do it, but she’s grown and has the money… and apparently the incintive. So leave it be.

My issue is that implants require too much damn maintenance! They leak and all, and they have to be replaced after every 10-15 years depending on how the “wear and tear” goes. That’s too much work. Gotta KEEP going BACK under the knife and ish. Luckily…. I grew some C’s around 21-22 so I didn’t need “augmentation” but I WOULD like a breast LIFT…and lipo-sculpture.

Did the tummy tuck leave a scar? I know when I was reading about the differences between lipo and tummy tucks, they said one left a scar under the navel area and one didn’t. I just want minimally invasive lipo-sculpture? Don’t need to suck any fat out, just shape my flat stomach into a 6-pack…like they did Beyonce’s.

Exactly! It isn’t like you get them and they’re there. A lot of risk come along with getting them. Ive heard stories about them shifting as well. I grew C’s around 17 and was ecstatic then I got on Depo shot and moved right to a D…I was perfectly happy with my C’s but I can’t imagine having an augmentation unless I began to have some type of back problems which or other issues

That’s interesting because I thought she was trying to break into modeling. Big boobies and high fashion modeling do not mix. You can always tell when someone has had lipo-sculpture and it didn’t take well, because they’re stomach ends up looking like a bag of rocks… (beyonce, Tara Reid.) But Bey’s stomach was a MESS during DC’s 1st & 2nd albums, people forget.

The first time I saw her in that yellow multicolor bikini on a yacht with Jay and I saw her stomach- I knew immediately she got sculpted….plus one picture, you could see the tiny invasive scar was still healing.

Liposuction is for having a little pudge to nip & tuck. Lipo-sculpture is not removing any pudge really, just shaping it into a proper way so that it’ll be defined.

You can get lipo-sculpture on any muscles- lots of men get it on their arms and stomachs. I just want it on my stomach. My belly’s flat (wear half-shorts all the time), but I want some really good definition. Whats so bad about that? And I do work out- 4-5x a week, so it’s not laziness, but that I can’t seem to grasp the definition I want so I want a smidgen of help. Just a smidgen….

I noticed her new boobs a while ago and I think they look nice. I see nothing wrong with getting a lil work done as long as you do it for YOU and not because someone else says you should. And children should ALWAYS be monitored when brushing their teeth with toothpaste. My dentist gave me prescription strength toothpaste with extra fluoride. I felt horrible after brushing my teeth with that toothpaste for a week! I threw it away and I immediately felt better.

It’s too bad society spends so much time getting the outward together. If you get in an accident, that “perfect” body and face may one day be gone in an instant. Then what?

I saw a story about a UK model whose whole career was based on her looks. Some guy threw acid in her face, and just like that, her looks were destroyed forever. She said that, after all that she’s been through, she started focusing on what really mattered. Her spiritual life kicked into gear and now she’s helping others.

Too bad we don’t spend more time working on our attitudes and stuff that really makes a person beautiful. Lord knows I know a lot of outwardly beautiful women, but their attitudes stink. No one wants to be around them. I’m not saying that having good looks is bad or having a nice neither is having a nice body; I just think we spend far too much time on vanity than getting all the other parts together.

I got my breast augementated in the early 90’s when only white girls were doing it, I belonged to the itty bitty titty community.
