We wonder if it was this little pink pistol that Toya’s former fiance, James Hardy, bought her for her birthday? Law enforcement tells TMZ, Mickey “Memphitz” Wright put his backpack through the X-ray scanner at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport — and TSA agents quickly discovered the firearm and called the cops.
According to police, Wright had a valid license to carry the weapon … insisting he had simply forgotten the gun was in his bag — but it’s still illegal to bring it on a plane.
Wright was arrested on the spot and transferred to a nearby jail. He is still in custody.
Oops. Toya must be frantic with worry for her man in Fulton County jail.

Its the choice of accessories… I mean my Barbie (Matel, not Suitcase Ninja) has shoes, outfits, a townhouse w/ elevator, pool shower with working water, car, Ken doll w/o hammer…but all her chit matched.
White Barbies have come with hair extensions too. They also had one that you could press a button and her hair would grow.

I don’t see anything wrong with little girls playing with dolls. We played with them, our moms did, grandma’s, etc. Dolls are a part of a little girl’s toys. I think it’s up to the mother’s to keep their little girls away from materialism. I know I used to just like looking at the doll and brushing her hair…playing with her clothes. Some chit in life isn’t that complicated I played with Barbies all my damn life – I didn’t want to marry Ken – I didn’t want blonde hair and we made our barbie house out of oranges boxes stacked on top of one another – had some hand me down barbie furniture also – but me and my sis loved our Barbie TOWNHOME and are not jaded by playing with them – the fact that we want better things outta of life is becuz of how we were raised – to work hard for what you want! Not really seeing how Barbie is going to brainwash little girls unless they are weak minded already and don’t have any real life folks around

I think the different hair pieces that come with the doll just represent the verstality within the AA community when it comes to hair. When I was younger I once had a friend (who was white) tell me that she loved the way we could change our hair into different styles (curly, afro, straight, braids, etc.).

When I was little I had all that stuff (dolls, cars, house, etc.) but to me they didn’t symbolize things i needed personall nor were they the standard for what I should have later on inlife. They were just fun things to add to the collection. Sometimes you gotta let kids be kids and not think too much into things. She’s probably not thinking about materialistic things at a young age. No, I was just saying that the ratio of positive things we comment on to the ratio of negative things we comment on is crazy uneven. It just shows that people tend to gravitate towards the negativity more than what is positive.

@ FeFe…I don’t see how what Sass said was any different then the time or times that me, you and other posters have made comments about a certain female performer not being the hottest thing under the sun and we were accused of making hateful comments or being hateful or being haters for voicing our opinions. I guess I should’ve emailed Sandy and told her I was being attacked and called out of my name when I wasn’t doing anything but, saying how I honestly felt. I don’t think it’s that serious though and if I KNOW I don’t hate that girl, it don’t apply to me anyway. I see it’s ok for ppl to say what they want then get pissed when somebody say something to them though.

There have been many days when I come on here, read Sandra’s initial post and either leave it alone b/c I feel like it started out negatively/biased or I comment b/c I feel that strongly about saying something. I agree with you though. Sometimes things start out negative on here from the first post.

It could have been a mistake. I personally took a knife through myself by mistake. I was running late for my flight through my stuff in my bag that I was taking to work for my lunch which had a knife I used to cut up my salad stuff. Didn’t stop to think about it at all… Place bag down and I saw them grab it off and talking in a circle looking through it. Never once did my mind think about the knife I was worried about making my southwest flight you know they don’t wait on you…
Then they pulled out this knife which at that point looked ten times bigger to me than it was. And I started sweating bullets, I started screaming “Oh MY GOD, WHO PUT THAT THERE” “THROW IT IN THE TRASH”
I was hella nervous like damn, damn, damn. they took it and measured it and the lady said your lucky it’s a inch under jail time. I was like just throw it away… Grab my bag and took off… But one things for sure I will never do it again… Double checks everything before I board my flight… A gun IDK about that but maybe he was running behind Maybe…
