Former Dallas Cowboys star Deion Sanders has been charged with misdemeanor simple assault in the wake of an altercation with his estranged wife that got her arrested at their mansion in suburban Dallas.
Police said late Tuesday that further investigation led to citations against both Deion and Pilar Sanders, who still live together in Prosper.
Police say the charge doesn’t warrant arrest. A police spokesman wouldn’t detail the allegations, but says simple assault could be as simple as touching or jerking from a grip.
A message left with Sanders‘ attorney wasn’t immediately returned.

No she won’t. In a fight both parties can press charges even the one who was the aggressor but that doesn’t change the terms of the restraining order. If she chooses she can get a separate restraining order against him but it won’t nullify or change hers. If they ordered her to move out for 60 days than she has to move out for 60 days. And if she hit him first then he had every right to fight back. The fact that she attacked him and all she has is a fat lip shows that he was already showing alot more restraint than others would have. If it had been me she hit, she’d of looked a lot worse
But just because both parties can press charges, doesn’t mean both parties will be convicted and ultimately charged by the D.A. Chances are, if his and the kids statements hold up in court, she’s assed out and all he has to do is claim self defense to get his dropped

Elease moved out of the room with Mimi because Mimi threw up a river in their bedroom.
