Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina, 19, is set to star in her own reality TV show titled “The Houstons On Our Own,” on Lifetime television on Oct. 24. The reality show will follow Bobbi Kristina’s life after Whitney’s sudden death of an accidental drowning earlier this year.
Also appearing in the program is Bobbi K.’s longtime boyfriend, Nick Gordon; her grandmother, Cissy Houston, Pat Houston, who is married to Whitney Houston’s brother, Gary; and Pat’s daughter. According to a source close to the show’s production company, Whitney never officially adopted Nick Gordon as her son, which dispels the stories about Bobbi K. and Nick engaging in an incestuous relationship.
Pat Houston described the reality show in a statement released earlier this year: “I have been working with Simmons-Shelley over the past few years developing a project suitable for myself and our family,” Pat Houston said. “The unexpected passing of Whitney certainly affects the direction of the show. However, it is my hope that others will be enlightened as they watch our family heal and move forward.”
Bobbi Kristina made her acting debut on Tyler Perry’s ‘For Better or Worse’ in July.

This is why you young ladies have so many problems finding men. Instead of worrying about whether the man has a criminal record or how he treats his mom, you’re worrying about something as insignificant as his zodiac sign. If you’re having trouble figuring the man out, maybe he’s not the man for you? Move on and find a man you don’t have to figure out.

That’s not always true, Keesh. You can’t judge a man based upon ONE relationship. There are some “mother’s” out there who simply gave birth – and that’s it! And they don’t have healthy relationships with their son’s because they’re not healthy people.
Toxic people breed toxic relationships and the difference is that you can’t always walk away from your toxic relationship with your mother BECAUSE she’s your mother. But you have the ability to walk away from that with a significant other.
Why do men have all these standards and guidelines that make up our marketability, but women can do the EXACT opposite of what they EXPECT and believe they’re a good catch?
If a man shakes the $hit out of a woman, he’s violent and will probably beat you. A woman can slap, push, hit, kick, push a man’s head til her little hearts desire, and it’s all good.
A man doesn’t get along with his mother and tells her what she needs to hear and he aint’ worthy cause “that’s his mama” no matter what. But a woman can flat out tell her daddy that he aint’ $hit, his mammy aint’ $hit and he ain’t gon’ never BE $hit – and still believe SHE deserves a good man who will treat HER like a queen because clearly those issues don’t determine HER worth as a mate.

Man went to prison, got out several years later, and the Mother married that man…Sometimes parents don’t deserve our respect. So imo respecting his Mom is know different than asking his sign, or any other thing you may take into consideration before dating. My longest relationship was with a woman who moved to California to get away from her fam. I hate I even got that mess started about a taurus male, although it was true. But in relationship there are other key factors that need to be addressed, and everything u mentioned is correct. Cause I am a full believer that if a man that doesn’t treat his mammy right, you can almost guarantee he has women issues. Background checks are mandatory this day in time
