Wendy Williams calls Beyonce dumb

Late is better than never… Talk show Diva Wendy Williams probably shouldn’t expect a Christmas card from the Carters this year. The former shock jock was commenting on Beyonce’s upcoming HBO special when she put into words what everyone was already thinking about Beyonce’s intelligence level — or lack thereof.

“I am a Beyonce fan,” said Wendy, “I’m gonna be watching this documentary cause fortunately one of the TVs in our kitchen has closed captioning so I’ll be able to understand what she says. You know Beyonce can’t talk. Beyonce sounds like she has a fifth grade education. She can’t talk. Honestly. We really do have the closed captioning for times like that.”

Considering the fact that she left middle/high school to pursue her career and reportedly only recently received her GED, I would say that her level of intelligence or lack, thereof, is dead on. When you’re sitting in those big meetings and people are using words beyond your level of education how much money in your account will not save you. I remember MJB spoke on how things like that affected her. I lubs me some Bey but most of her interviews are scripted. I’m not sure if she’s trying to disguise the real Bey from us and her limited vocabulary is because she’s trying hard not to say the wrong thing or if she is really that way…. But Jay seems like a smart man so it really confuses me.

Well think about it yall. Her dad quit his job to manage Bey’s career early on while her mother was the breadwinner. Bey was chasing the spotlight early on. They started at whole “home school” ish right out the gate. Remember she was already in Destiny’s Child and did Case’s video “Happily Ever After” when she was like 16 years old. They never made education a priority…Look at Chris Brown….Willow is on that same train as well….
