Two of the three people found dead in a car alongside the highway in South Fulton County have been identified as a man and a woman from Montgomery, Alabama.
A Union City patrol officer doing routine patrol found the car parked near the I-85 northbound Flat Shoals exit ramp just south of Atlanta Hartsfield airport, according to Gloria Hodgson, a spokeswoman for the Union City Police Department.
The officer saw the bodies of 2 deceased males in the back seat of the car. He later looked in the trunk and found the body of a female.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office identified the woman inside the trunk as Cheryl Colquitt-Thompson, 32, of Montgomery, Ala.
One of the males in the back seat was identified as Quinones King, 33, also of Montgomery. The third man was not identified.
Police would not release the victims’ cause of death.
“This is still an open investigation. (The Georgia Bureau of Investigations) is involved. They are assisting, and we will be able to give you updates as we go along,” Hodgson told Channel 2’s Amanda Cook. Hodgson added that the case is being investigated as a triple homicide.
