This tragic story highlights the need for parents to be diligent and stop leaving small children in the care of older siblings.
A 15-year-old Utah boy is in custody and charged with the deaths of his younger brothers, Roland Martin reports. The youngest boy’s body was found by their mother when she returned home, according to police.
The 10-year-old’s body was found by police officers who responded to the home.
The boys died from traumatic injuries, according to Sgt. Susan Poulsen.
Police put out the teen’s picture and name as they searched for him Wednesday night. The teen was located shortly before midnight. His father, an active military serviceman, was not in town at the time of the murders. He and his wife are said to be devastated.

Anybody going to the Bike rally this weekend?
@ Who…..I can honestly say, my daughter has babysat for me maybe 3x total. Never for over an hour and not before he was about 10yrs old. Now her father, leaves her at home for hours with his 1 and 2yr olds could NAWT be me! Not that I think she will go apeshyt and beat or kill anyone but, I know my kid. She’ll get distracted and not pay attention, get bored and sleepya and stop paying attention. Now my sister, I wouldn’t ask her to but, I know she could keep him for hours unsupervised with no problem. I think it all comes in knowing your kids. Unless this boy truly snapped, i’m sure there were signs that he shouldn’t have been left with his siblings.
Welp, I guess I will go prep my dinner for tonight. Old school southern meal, fried fish (redfish to be exact) and homemade fries, with a side of grape Koolaid.

Well, I am the older sibling. I watched my sister all the time. When we went to the same school, I woke her up, made sure we both got to school on time, and when we went to different school, walked her to school and waited until she got out. When my cousins were born, it wasn’t unusual for me to have two or three younguns in my care. There’s nothing wrong with leaving a child with a older sibling. We’ve heard alot more stories of parents killing their own kids than siblings killing a sibling. Its not that simple.
And Roland links never work for me. I follow him on facebook and have the same problem with his links.
