Jay Z Gifts a Mercedes Benz to Skylar Diggins

To a businessman like Jay Z, gifting a Mercedes Benz to one of his employees is simply a tax write off. But to a star-struck groupie who just graduated from college, a Mercedes Benz is a pretty big deal.

Jay Z surprised former Notre Dame women’s basketball star Skylar Diggins with a Mercedes Benz C class automobile. Prices for a C class Mercedes start at $35,000.

Diggins took to her Twitter page yesterday to boast about her shiny new gift from Jay Z and Roc Nation. Skylar’s fetching good looks and light skin, long hair makes her appealing to image obsessed rappers like Jay Z (and Lil Wayne).

Jay Z recently signed the hoop star to a Roc Nation sports management contract. And Lil Wayne is still trying to figure out how to fit her into his Young Money Cash Money clique.

Jay Z, 45, also gifted Rihanna with a Porsche after signing her to Roc Nation. Jay Z will do anything to show off. We’re not impressed.

Me and DaddyDub done had this NBA vs WNBA convo. Its not that they get paid less on purpose. They don’t have the following. Less ticket sales. Less tv coverage which means less commercials, exposure, revenue, etc. They don’t have many shoe endorsements or heck many endorsements period. The money just aint there and never will be. What took it so long to get off the ground in the first place. Money.

They were supposed to have been getting a league for the ladies my dad told me since the ABA and NBA merged. We talking the 70’s they had been working on it. So they gonna have to keep on getting those salaries and go overseas like @Man said.

Babe, women’s sports don’t sell. Never have, never will. You know why? Because it’s not as good as the men’s game. That’s just how it is. Why pay for an inherently inferior product? Which is what women’s sports are.

That isn’t sexist. It’s reality. I love basketball like Whitney loved a good rock so I watch the women’s game from time to time. But I know the casual fan wouldn’t want to watch. That’s why they are paid less. It’s not the same business.

Just like females porn stars and models make 10 times more than men. Who cares about a male model or porn star? That isn’t sexist either.

Although I’m same sex oriented and typically on the side of the FISH, I simply can’t watch most sports women play. Track is the absolute only exception. I’d watch the female sprinters over the men because I think it’s sexy for bish to run that fast and look good doing it. In my mind, guys are supposed to run fast, so big freakin’ deal. I know, it makes no sense, but it’s my thinking. When Carmelita and nem broke that record, that was exciting. I’d watch that a million times. But the guys, yawn. Same thing when Gwen and Gail had their rivalry. It was exciting. I think I’m realizing I live for drama and reality shows.

Oh and I prefer seeing females step (deltas) over guys. I hope this helps.
