Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Fruness

‘Wolverine’ actor Hugh Jackman is frustrated over the constant rumors that he’s gay. The Les Miserables actor has been battling gay rumors since he played flamboyant singer Peter Allen in the Broadway play Boy From Oz. Since then Jackman has defended himself against gay rumors in hundreds of interviews.

Jackman said he’s bothered by the effect the gay rumors have had on his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness.

“If I was, I would be,” he said in an interview with “60 Minutes” in Australia. “It’s, to me, not the most interesting thing about a person, anyway… I do get frustrated for Deb, cause I see Deb go, ‘”Ah, this is crazy!'”

Jackman and Deborra-Lee, who is 13 years older than Jackman, adopted 2 children together, Oscar and Ava. The children only recently saw his ‘Wolverine’ movies.

“They’ve only seen it recently,” Hugh reveals. “I figured it would be very undermining to see their father slicing people’s heads off. It does take away my credibility when I say, ‘Please don’t hit your sister.’ ‘Really, Dad?’
