Former child star Amanda Bynes is almost unrecognizable in these photos taken 5 days after she was released from a psychological facility. Bynes, 27, was hospitalized in July and diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder after she was arrested for setting fire to a neighbor’s driveway in Thousand Oaks, Calif.
Bynes was spotted walking 2 dogs near her home. She wore a sweatshirt that read “Gangsta Love,” sunglasses and black leggings.
On Wednesday, Bynes spoke publicly for the first time since being released from rehab. “I am doing very well. I’m doing great, it’s been five days since I got out of rehab,” she said.
Bynes’ downward spiral was hastened by her addiction to drugs, alcohol and the social network Twitter.com.
In a statement, her family said Bynes was researching colleges and she plans to pursue a career in fashion.
