“Tips For Jesus” Tipster Leaves Thousands in Tips For Servers

Someone in Los Angeles is going around leaving hundreds, and sometimes thousands of dollars in tips for servers in local bars and restaurants. The servers, waiters and waitresses who are sometimes stiffed on their tips are very grateful for the kindhearted gestures of the anonymous tipster. The person, or persons, who left tips worth $200 to $10,000 for servers, created an Instagram page where servers can upload their receipts called Tipsforjesus. The motto on the @TipsforJesus Instagram page is: “Doing the Lord’s work, one tip at a time.”

I think that this is really sweet. Everybody doesnt tip according to service..everybody doesnt tip according to the bill.. some people are really stingy.

I use to be a waitress when I was 15. I worked with an older lady who didnt make as much money as I did in tips simply because I was younger or cuter. Men would tip me the most. Its sad.

I always TIP 17% or more regardless of service …. unless your just down right nasty….. I like to hear stories like this though

When I didnt have a job I went back to waiting tables. Tip money pays bills too.

I was also raised on the salary of a single mom who was a fast food manager. It kept us clothed, it kept us a decent car to drive, and it always kept us fed. No public assistance either cause even in fast food…if you past a certain level you are over the income limit.

but seriously though if you treat me like shyt your not getting nothing I have had so many servers try to pull race card with me…. you will be surprised how many say black folks don’t tip its just awful, but hell them sprites don’t tip either

In loo if I don’t have the money to tip I just don’t eat out…. but please believe when I eat out …. I come out to spend money baby I have met some great servers and Bartenders that way…… gave me a bunch of free shyt too…… especially when it might be a day I’m low on funds

I love to hear these types of stories. I will say that I consistently tip 20% or better if the service is decent. If I have to wait 30 minutes to get the check and 30 more minutes for you to bring my card back, you will get nothing. Well…a nice note on the back explaining why, but that’s about it.

Trust he will take care of them the min he get braces bc he wont have a choice. You visit the dentist monthly and in the beginning when you are gettin fit for them with spacers you will take care of them bc your mouth will be sore. I did however get them early to mid 90’s since then invisalign has killed the game so it might vary. All that to say you will take care of them by force
