After teasing her Stans for a year with promises of revealing her natural hair, Nicki Minaj finally revealed her long tresses on Instgram.com yesterday. Yes, her hair is real and growing from her scalp. Let the hating begin, because you have good reason to hate this woman. The 31-year-old rapper has the full package: the looks, the talent, and the hair that many women can only dream of. Black women will give their firstborn to have Nicki’s long, luxurious hair.

My daughter’s hair is mid back length when straightened. One thing I hated when she was younger (and even now) is when people go “oh her hair is so long” I have to constantly let her know that yes you take care of your hair but long hair is not everything

I’ve never thought Nicki Minaj was very particularly pretty, but in this semi-natural look, I’ve changed my mind. Which proves my theory that less is more.

However, you can’t be the complete package with a fake a$$. She’s definitely #winning at this stage in the game, but to try to probe women into believing that they can’t compete with someone physically altered is a bit much.

And let’s be honest… women who come with a certain tax bracket and make their dollars on television BY looking good, do things a bit differently than the “average” woman who has $hit to do. The Nicki’s have private physicians who take care of their skin, they exfoliate, they go to spa’s and use the best of the best on their hair, etc. so it’s easy to look so “fresh” and so clean when you SHOULD because you spend thousands of coins to make sure of it, but the average sister with a current payment arrangement to keep her cell phone on has to make it do with some Noxema, Cream of Nature – and a lack of understanding as to why SHE doesn’t look like Nicki and Beyonce’ when she’s done.
