Lil Boosie Speaks After Being Released from Prison

Rapper Lil Boosie appeared in his first press conference titled “BOOSIESPEAKS”, presented by Atlantic Records this week. Boosie was release from prison on Wednesday after serving a 5-year prison sentence on drug charges. Lil Boosie’s legal team opened the floor to explain the conditions under which Boosie was released and his upcoming trial. Before the press conference, moderator Angela Yee of the syndicated Breakfast Club morning show briefly interviewed Lil Boosie before opening the floor for questions from various media outlets in attendance.

Longtime supporter and Rap Royalty Bun B addressed the audience, followed by rapper Jeezy and Lil Boosie’s Mom. Lil Boosie later posed for pictures with record label executives along with family and friends. The press conference was streamed live on BOOSIESPEAKS.com.

I also don’t put money on books and rarely go to visit, and my brothers have been locked up many o’ times. I just don’t have any sympathy, because they chose to be dumb which resulted in them being locked up. Staying in contact through writing is about the best I can do

My cousin got out of jail after serving like 17 years, he was talking on a cell phone one day when we were in a restaurant and kept YELLING into it…like he didn’t understand that cell phones are more advanced than they were in the 90’s, and the reception and clarity is different…
