Calvin Harris says he had “good reason” to ban ex-gf Rita Ora’s TCA performance

The breakup of a once passionate relationship is difficult on both parties — unless one party is a narcissist who lacks empathy.

That may be the case with DJ Calvin Harris, who is reportedly behind Rita being dropped from the Teen Choice Awards this past weekend. According to Yahoo Celebrity UK, “EVERYONE” blamed Harris for axing Rita’s TCA performance.

The drama began when Rita reportedly cheated on Calvin with Ricky Hil, the son of fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger. There are reports that Calvin may have cheated on Rita with any number of groupies, which wouldn’t be uncommon for a man.

Rita packed her things and moved out of Calvin’s home — and the drama began within hours.

Calvin added fuel to the fire by Instagramming a cryptic message about liars and innocence, with the disappointed emoji making an appearance.

Rita Ora confirmed that at the last minute Calvin, the song’s producer, refused to approve her TCA’s performance and she was deffo not happy about the cancellation being so last minute.

And NOW Calv appears to have taken offense to Rita speaking out, tweeting that he had “a damn good reason” for blocking her performance in the following series of tweets:

Maybe Slora didnt pay him for the song. I hardly doubt she cheated on him with Hilfigure son cause the week before he dumped her on Twitter she was up in the radio stations gushing about her love, then she was crying online about being dumped, shortly after he jumped on a plane to London for a week so she can move her ish out. This sounds like some Rita publicity to make her look bad so people can stop questioning her about letting her nether regions breathe a bit
