East View High School Football player Apollos Hester gave an inspirational, uplifting interview after his team defeated Vandegrift by one point.
Hester told TWC News Austin reporter Lauren Mickler that he knew his team would be victorious because he truly believed.
“It’s an awesome feeling when you truly believe that you’re going to be successful,” he said. “And if it doesn’t pay off, you continue to give God the glory!”
So far the video garnered over 2 million views on YouTube.com.
If football doesn’t pan out, Hester has a career in the church pulpit.

Saw this on the news this morning – this kid needs a job in journalism – he’s a pretty good orator…. I can see him taking Pinocchios place as a motivational speaker – you have potential!!!!

I always thought the logic was that with murder you kill one person whereas with drugs you kill a lot of ppl, communities, economies, etc.
