Singer Jill Scott‘s took to Twitter.com last night to deny the authenticity of a nude photo that was purported to be her. SHe wrote: “I def took the 1st pic w/ a robe; weight loss chronicle but the 2nd, sorry freaks, is not me. I wish I had that space between my thighs.”
Scott did admit that she was among the hundred or so female celebrities whose Apple iPhones were hacked by someone who uploaded nude pics of stars to an underground message board that is popular with the hacking community. Scott chastised her followers for sharing the fake nude photo all over Black Twitter.
The FBI is assisting Apple with the investigation into the hacking. Although Apple has yet to admit the iCloud server was breached, the company did release a patch on Tuesday to close a wormhole in Apple’s ‘Find Your Phone’ app that may have given the hacker access into the server where user data such as photos and text messages are stored.
Apple’s stock tumbled Wednesday, closing at $98.94 a share, down 4 percentage points for the day.
